I've not had any issues, but a lot of complaints on the PC tech support forums about it.  I'm running with 12GB DDR3 1333MHz.

I'm pretty sure you can, if the laptop board supports i7 then it pretty much has to support triple channel (unless the board maker is a retard). I honestly wouldn't worry about it if I were you, the performance difference is pretty insignificant. I was just busting your chops, because triple channel makes you uber leet and all
