i7 and not using triple channel mem? For shame.

I've not had any issues, but a lot of complaints on the PC tech support forums about it.  I'm running with 12GB DDR3 1333MHz.

12 is divisible by 3 so it's technically still a triple channel mode

I agree, the comp I built last january is almost identical sans the 5870, and it only cost me 1K total (this is with a new monitor included too, only reused two parts from last build). It's worth at tops $1200.
