clicked, I'm hoping to get some twitter wins today, maybe. I'm gonna be gone for part of the day, but that's probably when they'll be back over 10k

I hope some of the people that got over 10k tell us how they did it afterwards, I'm very curious.

Check out the Auction Thread; people are generating a lot of clicks that way.

It would be a nice gesture if Bioware released some exclusive DLC (like armor or outfits or something) for people who participated in the Bazaar but were unable to win any auctions.

How do you establish that someone participated if they do NOT win any of the auctions?  And from what I've seen of the biddding patterns, other than the first bids, the bidding goes to 9K+ almost immediately.  Which means that @80+% of us would never even register on any kind of radar.

Well, couldn't they just put up a fake 'shop' on this website where you can buy a code with any leftover points from the bazaar? The code could let you download the in-game item.

That way, it doesn't cost BioWare an excessive amount of money, and they still acknowledge and reward people for participating.

And Azure, about allowing everyone to get 15th anniversary armor: Sure, why not? That would also be a nice gesture on BioWare's part.

I really don't understand why any company would encourage spaming? I learned my lesson a long time ago about what spammers can do to ones computer, I block all now. There are too many malconents out there you just love screwing up other peoples computers. I never expected to win anything anyway, I just stayed with my 4200 points, for the games, didn't want a twitter/facebook account, have zero interest in them. At first when I read about this I thought it really was for the fans of bioware games. But seeing what is happening and reading the post, I have changed my mind. I feel it would have been better if bioware would have just entered each person in a drawing who had resitered there games.

They should have an exclusive shop for DLC where people who didn't win anything can use their points to purchase stuff.

(definately!!!)

Id just like to say, grats to all the genuine wins, and good luck to all those trying to win something. You guys are so lucky, right now there are literally 1,000's of bioware fans who cant even bid on the auctions.

All of the UK/Scotland/Ireland and Europe cannot take part in this, we have tokens and cant bid/win anything.

I genuinely hope that you guys win something each, but as for the rest of us, shame on you Bioware!

this, except I already have most of the DLC. some form of repayment would be nice though.

side note: is "repayment" a real word? it doesn't sound like a real word...

Yeah, I was thinking they could always reuse such a shop for future contests as well, in which everyone can participate.

It doesn't have to be on the same level as the paid DLC that's out now, I mean they could add smaller DLC that's less time-consuming to create, but still fun to use, like new weapons or armor.

Then people who either couldn't participate or didn't win anything could get something out of it too, and everyone's happier!

I also hope for some kind of "free" free dlc shop. Obviously Bioware's not going to giveaway the kasumi dlc but armor or weapons could be offered.
Also, although it doesn't sound likely, repayment is definitely a word. :wizard:

ya it became apparent to me that this wasnt really something they were doing just to show the fans appreciation, it was nothing but a way to get fans and none fans to advertise for them.

Had an interesting thought, for those people left sitting on a pile of tokens that was insufficient to place any bids.

How about some Easter Egg DLC Packs?  Sort of a "pig in a poke" kind of thing, but at least it would be something.  DLCs of unknown content that drops something unusual (and hopefully at least a little bit useful) that would be dropped into DA:O and ME2, but you get no hints as to what or where they are to be found.  The only way to locate them is to play through the games (again, which isn't a Bad Thing).  I figure about 1000 tokens for each Easter Egg would be about right.

Whaddya think?  Something that you can actually playwith; more so than a poster pack, anyway.

[Of course, an unscrupulous company might hand you an Easter Egg DLC which is in fact "empty" code with no actual content.  Then when people start complaining that they're not finding any Easter Eggs, they say, "You're just looking in the wrong places!"  But would BioWare do something like _that_?  Hmm.]
