Comments made on your profile (and comments you have made on others' profiles) you can delete. To reply to a particular comment, use the reply function associated with that comment (only available on your own profile). The message function is a private message. The Wall-to-Wall function, when available (it isn't, for instance, if one user has set her profile to private), will display (all) comment correspondances between the two users (the profile owner and the one who made the comment). As for who sees it, in Profile => Privacy Options you can specify who is allowed to see your profile (and also who can post comments, and lots of other things). Unfortunately you can't block just individual components (e.g. hide the activity feed or the comment block) -- it's the whole profile or nothing (although restricting commenting permission may also affect who has permission to see comments, not sure).n2nw wrote...
Also, I've no idea how to put comments on my profile. Someone posted a comment on my profile and I read it but was afraid to comment on it because I had no idea where it would go or how to get rid of it if I didn't like it.
