Hey,
i was wondering, what are some nice things to do after you finished playing Origins and awakening. Like, likely quests you missed, and funny things to try, etc. So any suggestions?

Have you play all the Origin stories? Try different henchman on different quests? Tried all builds and / or spell combo's? Seen all the endings? Just some ideas for you....

Just start a new game because you can't really do any quests outside of DLC after you finish. That is exactly why you should do everything you can before you decide to move on to the finale.

For me, I don't even bother doing everything anymore since I've beaten the game more times than I wish to count and because Awakening doesn't even really feel like an expansion but a separate game.

This is the only negative I see with this game. I was spoiled playing Oblivion with its openness, especially continuation after the game ends. I don't expect Dragon Age to have Oblivion openness, the openness that DA already has is fine, but I would love to continue after the main story ends.

I hoped to continue exploring the Fereldan world with Leliana by my side. I didn't like that they blocked out every city and town except for DLCs. I also didn't like the fact that they put us before the ending fight. Just have my PC and Leliana or whoever agreed to stay with you.

Really, that's the only gripe. Loved the game up until I open the doors to greet the crowd! I don't think that scenario would require additional voice acting or anything really. Maybe offer us to complete the side quests we forgot.

I know it would get boring and there would be nothing to do but still, I want to see my Leliana.

I agree. At the least, you should be able to go back to towns, explore, and take on board requests.

The voice acting storyline is huge.  On another play through choose different party members and listen to their dialogue.  Roleplay a real **** and choose answers strictly to degrade and be a pompous arse and see what type of answers you get ...

I am surprised a modder was unable to crack this.  In Fallout 3, a non modded game was the same.  Finish main quest = game over.  Now there are mods to allow you to keep going.

I think some games are just more mod-friendly than others. The Infinity Engine games (Baldur's Gate, Icewind Dale, etc) were easily cracked and all kinds of modding was done.

I am willing to pay $100 to someone who is willing to make a mod where we can continue after the ending... I am serious... Come on! You will be famous and you will have $100. Anyone? If this is by any means not appropriate I will delete this post...

Would it be pretty hard to come up with a mod where every city is unlocked and we can use our companion. Say if I romanced Leliana and we decided to stay in Denerim together, how about unlocking all the cities, towns and having Leliana as companion. Maybe too much work I suppose... Oh well... I can learn modding and do it myself but then DA2 will be out...

$100 is not that much money if someone has to spend days to get it to work ;P

Yeah, I suppose $100 is chump change considering how much they would have to work to get the mod done.

How much do you think is fair? :?
