I have a scene where the camera rotates slightly anti-clockwise 45 degrees. I've made a rotation key and added bezier effect, but for some reason it chooses to rotate clockwise (making a 315 degree turn instead of 45). Why does it take the longest path? Where can I set the direction which the camera should rotate?
Bezier camera rotation?

From tips and tricks on the wiki. You should be able to force it in the proper direction by adding or subtracting to to the keyframe position numbers. (depending on whether they are a positive or negative number.)
- If you are panning a camera around a room following a series of actors or placeables and you find that the camera suddenly decides to rotate in the other direction you can force it to stay moving in the direction you desire by adding or subtracting 360 degrees from the position/orientation you are using to move the camera.

The Toolset seems to automatically alter the rotation values for the keyframes to keep them in the -180 + 180 degrees range. This can occasionally create situation where an object is made to rotate from say, 178 degrees to 182 degrees except the 182 was quietly converted to -178, forcing full rotation in the opposite direction.dewkl wrote...

Like mentioned, the way to counter it is to manually change the value of keyframe, by adding/substracting 360 to it depending on desired direction.
