I thought this was a great idea at first. Of course people had to cheat somehow with scripts or bots.

So Bioware....enjoy rewarding the shady tacticians while the bulk of us can do nothing with our 4200 points.

I hate how most of these people can cheat and get over 10000 tokens, which allows them to win at any auction.

This is Bull****, I have every registered game that offers points and I even won a challenge on twitter.. yet I only have about 6850 points... I think about 140 from url referrals..

I think Bioware needs to disable the URL referrals because its a huge exploit.

If this continues I dont think I will be purchasing another Bioware product. But I might find other means to acquire bioware products just to put it to them over this crap. Customer Appreciation my ass, exploiters heaven more like it.

This pisses me off, how can the many people who have only a few thousand tokens have any chance on bidding, when people go all out and bid 7,000 tokens right off the bat. People don't know how to bid properly...good luck to anyone bidding on these items. I'm **** out of luck with only 2540 tokens...dam!

Pretty much. Anything else and you're wasting your time. I just keep coming back to check on all the stuff I'll never have. :(

Ya, I really don't like this.  I figured I'd be able to use the 2500 points from ME2 registration and Social membership and I'd maybe have a chance to at least bid on a hoody.  Maybe even compete if I get some of the twitter challenges and a few url clicks.  Guess not though, I hit refresh and bid only to be outbid before mine even registers. I even found the UPC for dragon age and did the character creater thing and I'm still sitting at 6000 while people are opening auctions at 7000.

This just isn't working, I'm sure there are some people that have 12000 points legit but there is something terribly flawed with this.

it would be nice if Bioware gave us something for all the effort and traffic we've brought to the site, even though most of us won't win anything.

Ah, but such dreams are not meant to be. in the mean time, I'm sending you guys a round of clicks for moral support!!!

I'm just wondering how people are bidding on an item up to 9000 points before the site even finished loading. It's not like I'm on a 56k connection here, but within 12 seconds there 7 bids (a lot of the same people it seems) and it's up to 9000... I have no idea how they are doing it so fast (unless this is some of that twitter BS (god I hate twitter))

I agree with you guys, but what can we do? I mean, I am on cable internet, and still can't get a bid in before it goes up to 9k. And I am way off pace to even have a shot at anything. I quit watching the auctions because it is frustrating to see everything go so high, and know I don't have a shot in...well, you know...

Too bad that people from Europe or people that don't live in the U.S.A can't give someone else these points because they are pretty usless for me . (rule says only people from the usa can bid so...) At least I'd help someone to win something .

We still have time. I would be proud of someone if they won with 7500. That would maybe make me think that the auction wasn't that bad.

If you add your referral link, you may get a few extra points, the forums have turned into a click fest so to speak...

I have to agree guys, the people with 10k+, especially the guys getting up to 13k+, just aren't playing fair. Its unfortunate how many of us really looked forward to this and participated correctly, just to be completely screwed by cheaters.

A much better way to handle this would have been to make each point you bid essentially be a raffle entry. That still allows the people with the most points the best chance at swag, but lets the little guys feel involved.
