Well, ME2 got an average of 94%... I think that's pretty acurate.

Yup, and most reviews don't really quite take into account that ME2 is part of a trilogy for better or for worse.
For example:  a review might be more forgiving towards ME2 if the reviewer didn't really have any sort of attachment whatsoever towards any of the ME1 Love Interests, and alternatively, most reviews that give good scores for ME2 grade it as a stand alone game, and for a stand alone game, it's pretty solid.

This whole Kasumi thread reminds me of when my dad took me to a baseball game as a kid and it ended up going to 19 innings.



At first, everyone was really ticked. Babies were crying, kids were whining, and adults were groaning.



After about the 14th inning, the people who were annoyed with it had left. Eventually it became like one big party where everyone was joking around and placing bets on how long the game would last.



Didn't get out of the park until past midnight. Had to stay home from school.

Yes but a game like Bioshock 2 comes out and we ALL know how overrated this series is.

This is true. In JC2 I tried to run a Boeing 747 into the mile high club, I blew up, it didnt. Was disappointed. =/

And in the demo, two helicopters came to chase mine down, as mine was crashing, I fell into one of them blowing it up in the process, and then grappled onto the bottom of the other helicopter but for some reason there's no "hi-jack" option from there, so I was stuck shooting at the bottom of the helicopter for about 5 minutes until it blew up  >.>  That never happened in M2, lol, once I had an Apache and was just leveling an entire base until two american attack copters shot me down, and I steered my wreckage towards theirs, jumped onto theirs and hi-jacked theirs  :happy: I'm sure that pilot was just PISSED

You need to swing to the front of the helicopter using the anolog stick. Then you can hijack it  (I'm not sure the control for pc's).

My favorite thing was EA shutting down the studio right after it showing that despite "We have changed" speech they were still the same.

What happened? Who was the one giving the speech?

For years, EA was known for buying other studios, putting out a sequeal to one of their hits, making it really bad, and when that one game didn't do well, they would close the studio.
Around the time they bought Bioware and Pandimic they claimed that they were not doing that anymore.

Ditto. There was this one site that was down for about a week and a half. On the fan site, we had a thread that the mod had to clear daily because it was too long. Same thread we pyramid-ed on. I love wait parties. Misery loves company, AHE?

Pandemic was brought up along with Bioware by EA when the current CEO of EA was then the Managing Director of Elevation Partners that holded both Pandemic and Bioware, the deal was just before he taken the job at EA.

The speech was given by John Riccitiello (the current CEO of EA) soon after he taken the job, Pandemic was closed down during the '09 EA yearly chistmas "clear your desk and get out" round, granted it was about 1 year after Mercenaries 2 was released.

You know, this reminds me of the Incisor Sniper Rifle and EA saying it's "coming soon" yet it still isn't here.



I guess they're basing their idea of soon off GoW3.

The back of GoW: CoO's Manual said "GoW3 Coming soon!" and that was back in March 2008...

Hmm....that's a terrible shame. It seemed like there was a lot of possibilities for Mercenaries' franchise. I mean, they even had Online Co-Op in the sequel. Strange
