Large packages are getting out of hand with people throwing almost crazy numbers of tokens in matters of seconds. People are throwing 10k for lithios and others for a PACK OF TSHIRTS. Which dont make sense and people has bot the crap of the referral program. Alot of us (probly like 80-85%) dont have a chance with bids above 9700. SIngle auctions would make people think instead dropping huge amounts and make it a bid war instead of a bid slaughter. Sign here! We can make a difference! Tomorrow is the chance for change! HELP THE PEOPLE UNDER 10K TODAY

It's "petition", btw.
Anyway, I agree. I was expecting single item auctions anyway.

They list 412 individual prizes, to be auctioned every 15min for 4 days. With these bundles, they won't last 4 days, They probably won't last 2 days, what is Bioware thinking?

They did, and we're still screwed. Single N7 hoody for over 11k tokens
The entire N7 pack only went for 10,900. The hoody alone is 11,245. What does that tell you?inidividual items won't make a difference

Yeah crazy, looks like my meager 6000 credits won't be enough to "win" anything. Ah well.

it was all about who could get the most referrals. Not many people won more than 2 challenges. I'll bet most of the winners spent money for clicks.

Look at the bid stamps for the current auction. 6 seconds after it went up, 9180 tokens... this auction thing is such a load of crap

Give us a chance! This is bull**** I cannot get a bid in otherwise because EVERY bid ends up being 10k plus. And it's quite obvious how those individuals 'received' their points.
Give us a chance, I'm not saying anyone in particular will do this but, step up make your fan base happy by answering our call or take the risk of losing respect of said fan base and maybe even future/current customers.

Yes, I would like to see a sticker sell for 9000 tokens.

You guys forget that the auctions probably won't be going 24 hours a day. I bet it'll likely go 9am to 4pm PDT, meaning 28 auctions a day, or 140 auctions within this time frame. Single item auctions would be way too time-consuming.

The Auctions, at least if the Dev's are to be believed, will be going 24/7. Even during the night.

Agreed. When I've seen that collections and HUGE bids I'm understand: there is no land for fair man.
Proxies, bundles and auto-clickers don't leave a chance.

signed. i thought that it would be single item auctions. When they said denominations of 10 i thought that you wouldnt be able to put in your whole amount within a couple of seconds. I thought it would be luck mixed in with how many tokens you got, instead of just the people that seemed to exploit the Unique Referral Link program.

Not signed. Seriously, have you been huffing paint? The rules already explicitly state the number of prizes to be won, the timeframe for the auction as a whole, and the timeframe for each individual auction. To do some single-item auctions, they'd have to remove items from some of the bundles and throw them into others.
Besides that, even if they busted their backs to do it, it wouldn't change anything. There'd still be someone waiting with at least 10K to snatch it up, and you yokels would still be whining your behinds off. If something does sell for less, it would be because noone really wanted it to begin with. There are 412 prizes in this contest, which means between 206-412 winners. Out of at least a few thousand participants If you didn't get enough tokens, you're not one of them. Deal.
I'm really getting sick of this. The rules of the game have been posted since day one. If you played badly, you lost. That's how it goes. Don't go whining that people who played the game well are obviously cheating. They are not cheating, you're just a sore loser with a sense of entitlement.

/signed. My 2,700 Tokens stand no chance. Every single item i've seen has at least 9,000ish points on it within 10 seconds every time. I dunno why i'm even bothering to still look in on any Auction Item. (Maybe boredom?)

Oh, yeah? Simple math here: 1200+1500+1750+1000+500=5950 base tokens.
Maybe somebody wins 1-4 challenges. That's maximum 7950.
And 8900 tokens you can get from referrals without cheating? Who'd you're fooling?

Posté 07 avril 2010 - 12:34
8900 tokens over 9 days, correct? The first 50 clicks per day count for 10, so that's 4,500 right there, meaning 4,400 clicks for 1 point. Divide by 9 days, add the 50 10-point clicks back in, you get a little less than 550 clicks per day. This is possible, fairly.
But of course, this doesn't stop you from bawling. You just stop calling it "cheating" and start calling it "cheesing" or "exploiting". Because we all know the real crime here is that some clever and industrious individual took away from you stuff that you think you deserve on account of you play too many video games.
I have seen no evidence thus far to suggest that any auction winner had stockpiled tokens in violation of the rules as posted. Furthermore, it's becoming very obvious to me that a good number of the people whining about how anyone with more than 10K tokens is an obvious cheater never bothered to read the rules themselves. I've seen people complaining that they couldn't amass even 6K. That is either pure idiocy or laziness, the rules tell you outright how to amass at least that much. I have seen people complaining that they bought the new expansion for the points and deserve better, that is inexcusable when the quizzes are offered as an alternative. I have seen people complaining that obviously the so-called cheaters are using bots to click links repeatedly. That is possible, but not as easily as you think, since the rules specifically state that only unique IPs count for tokens- and anyway, if you knew that this was possible, why did you waste time playing a game that you didn't think could be won fairly?
I have no respect for people who go into games without bothering to educate themselves on the rules and then pitch a fit when they lose.

Yes, IF you win 4 challenges. And that 550 clicks per day. Lure 550 people in clicking EVERY DAY isn't cheating?BellosTheMighty wrote...

I won't buy it. May be you have 550 friends? And remember every name? Yeah, sure.
Referral URLs suxx.
P.s. how many challenges you won personally?
