I dunno dude, I'm touring with both Anders and Velanna and they are both geared to the kilt with Tier 8/9 armor, although they do both have crappy dex and/or defense boots. I can give you my list of gear on both if you'd like.

I'd appreciate it :)

Well, I just finished the game 2 hours ago (at level 32) so I realize that most of the things I have are "end game" material. However, I had them all (unless specified) at level 30 or below which is the level you were referring to.

Here it goes:

Anders: Spellfury, Toque of the Oblivious, Oven Mitts, Tevinter Mage Robe, Magus War Boots (got Fadewlaker right before going into Mother's lair), Battlemage's Cinch (also upgraded to Belt of the Architect prior to the Mother fight), Fox's Pendant, Ring of Mastery, Ash

Velanna: Heart of the Forest (or Staff of the Lost), First Enchanter's Cowl, Spirit of the Woods, Blood Promise, Firestompers, Battlemage's Cinch, Talisman of Restoration, Ring of Discipline, Icicle.

I had no problems with a 2h warrior. Used the sentinel armour set (because it looks cool) and the Vigilance 2h sword that Wade makes for you. This was on a new character too, not an import. Shredded fairly hard, just those fsk annoying Childers with overwhelm would ****** me off to no end. sif indomitable doesn't stop you from getting overwhelmed.

Suron: If by "I'm doing it wrong" you are implying I don't want to play a DW warrior as opposed to roll play Minsc from the original Bioware Baldur's Gate series... an all strength Bezerker Ranger (warrior really) with a fat 2Hander? Then yes, I guess I'm doing it all wrong. Too bad for that entire talent tree dedicated for 2H weapons.

yah I misread...my bad on that..however

I've played TWO 2h warriors through origins..and both were also beasts....not quite a DW'er but damn close.

so..in the end...even if originally I read this thread title wrong.

you

are

doing

it

wrong.

To both Agent_Dark and Suron, at what point in any of my comments did I say I was struggling with the 2H warrior? The game difficulty is not only a complete joke, but I plan on trying to 3 man it on Nightmare mode. My gripe was the loot itemization and how not much was geared to upgrade a 2H warrior... **not that you needed gear to win**. I just like to "upgrade" my toon as I progress in a new game!

So Suron, I ask you...what exactly am I doing wrong? I'm mopped the floor with this ridiculously easy game. I just want to collect proper gear for my Toon/selected playstyle.

I still can't believe I 1 shot (1 attempt for those who don't know the term "1 shot") every boss in the game including both dragons and Mother. That should *never* happen in a game such as this. As a veteran gamer, I simply can't help but wonder what happened to Bioware. I recall the countless times I had to reload for so many "difficult" boss fights in the Baldur's Gate series... Kangaxx, Firkragg, and OMG Shangalar to which you needed to have a rogue stone in your backpack (with no indication that this was required in any "codex or journal") in order to *see* the secret door to get into the encounter...which subsequently gave you the best staff in the game. This is what I miss about today's games, they are so linear, with little to no challenge.

I found around 3 armor sets that were massive/heavy alone, 4 sets if you want to include the armor that Oghren comes with innitially. Not to mention, I had full dragon which lasted me till I found sentinel. I normally roll arcane warrior though, so I dont even roll with a healer half the time sense the highest damage I can take is like a 5.

UrsulaCousland: Yes, I do rip through the game with my DPS warrior as my P.P.S. comment stated at the end. I am just wondering if there was gear specific upgrades for a DPS warrior (obviously not that it's necessary).

Taine: 1. Thanks for that constructive reply. 2. QQing basically means "just complaining". Literal translation is the picture of 2 thumbs down "qq"... but capital QQ means even bigger complaining/whining. 3. yes, 1 shot means 1 attempt... It should still never happen in my opinion.

QQ is an emoticon which represents crying eyes, not thumbs down.

Actually, you're right... and wrong at the same time. You're right that I was mistaken as I had forgotten in the 1.5 year absence of WoW, but you now reminded me. However, contrary to popular belief, QQ is not a set of crying
eyes. It actually originated when Warcraft II was introduced to Battle.net (from Kali). During gameplay you could press ALT+Q+Q to immediately exit the match and program. Thus the term "QQ" was to tell people to just quit because they are unskilled. The term later developed and lost it's origin and is usually mistaken as crying eyes.

None of those sets are tailor made for a dps 2h warrior. They are tailor made for a tank...prove me wrong.
