The story was very good and the mission well-paced. It had a very James Bond feel of espionage and action. Kasumi is a well-written character with an interesting (and original) backstory. There were some nice easter eggs in the vault and Kasumi's "backstab" ability is pretty swank. The only negative thing I can think of is that the voice acting wasn't all that great; Kasumi speaks very quickly - especially inside in the Normandy - but at least Kelly Chambers has a line about her when Kasumi joins the crew so that's a nice touch.

Overall a pretty good DLC. A vast improvement over the original Mass Effect's DLC. Keep up the good work, Bioware.

I like it.  It felt more accurate with less kickback than the last SMGs.  Works especially well with Inferno ammo for taking down enemies.

ok..my review...this dlc was the best dlc i played from bioware.....Kasumi must be in ME3...so should the Locust..well the mission was fun..but i mostly enjoyed her comments and..flexibility

I am a litlle worried about her in the end after u get the box..

Nice to see all the Kasumi love. Seems that people genuinely liked the DLC (all the complaints I've seen have been really minor ones, which is unusual for this forum). I wasn't expecting much from this DLC to be honest, and I was pleasantly surprised.

She commented twice about my LI. Groovy. No wonder this DLC was so big, new models/skins/music plus there has to be more VA than Zaeed's pack... Then again Zaeed's pack had a level that changes a little depending on what you do, but I don't think it had new music, think the song that was playing throughout was a remix of the one that plays during Thane's recruitment...



Sure this pack is short but it is jammed packed with new content.

I just wrapped up Kasumi's loyalty quest and I was blown away. It was awesome and, surprisingly, Kasumi feels like a real character. I've always felt like Zaeed feels like DLC, but Kasumi just sort of fits. Plus her boss fight was insane and felt like it could've come out of Metal Gear Solid or something.



Still, Kasumi is so playful, sexy, and deadly. She's bound to have a strong following and I'm happy to say I'm on board. She should've been on the team from the get-go and we could've had someone else as DLC.



The first post should get edited with some of the awesome "support" signatures that I've seen floating around.

Agreed on all accounts.  Despite the lack of a dialog wheel aboard the Normandy, I enjoyed the amount of stuff she said.  Easily the most enjoyable ME2 character for me, and not too shabby of a squadmate in combat either.

I thought her character was decently-written and very well voice-acted.

Would most definitely like to see Kasumi again in ME3 as a full-fledged squaddie...and maybe an LI...

Her character is a nice change of pace from the rest of the cast. Unfortunately in the grand scheme of things I don't see why you would need a Thief (or an assassin in Thane's case) but they are both cool characters, Kasumi however feels different from the rest of the cast and she kinda stands out.

Agreed. Kasumi is great and better then I expected for a DLC character; In fact she doesn't feel like a DLC character at all. Where as Zaeed.....felt like it. The only thing I would like to know is what was in those memories?

Just knocked out the loyalty quest; thought it was an interesting change of pace.  Having listened to what voice files were in ME2 before the DLC was released, I didn't think I'd like her very much, but I was pleasantly surprised.  Maybe I'll be nice to her and get a scene with her and Jacob edited together.

Very good DLC. Could always want more, but this was certainly good enough and long enough to make you feel like you got your money's worth. Keep 'em coming.

...Looking for a relationship already ? Well in that case she should be back in ME3 as a LI... Its sad someone as boring as Jacob gets a dialouge wheel and Zaeed and Kasumi dont.

Considering kasumi is a new squadmate, with no dialouge wheel this is pretty good.
And besides this thread is less creepy.
