Someone say Kasumi without her hood ?

After about 2 weeks of finding tutorials of how to extract models, and how to use 3ds max, I've finally managed to get rid of her hood, and get some hair models on Kasumi...
Using the 2 types of hairstyles I based my "PS drawing" (Page 49) on...

Dragon Age: Origins - Morrigan's Hair Model:


ME2 - FemShep Straight Hair:



Sorry if the hair is a bit disproportionate...I tried to get it about right size for her head (when I tried it less wider, it made her face look to long) .

Hope ya guys approve of one .


If anyone can think of any ME2 Hairstyles that might suit Kasumi , I would gladly extract & stick it on Kasumi's head for ya .

I doubt that BW completly textured/modeled Kasumi's face, because you aren't supposed to see it.

You can see most of it with shadows turned off, though.

I think pretty much everything of her face is textured except for the hair. Her character model is likely bald with the hood in place.

I was looking at some old character art and noticed that Kasumi had more of her face painted at one time. Actually, the face was completely different.

i love kasumi.. one of my favorite characters. if she, tali, garrus, mordin, and thane or at least the first 3 are squadmates in me3... i will be so happy.

Would be cool if in some cut-scenes Bioware had her remove her hood sometimes. We can always hope for ME3.

more people need to appreciate kasumi! she's very interesting for a character that you can't even really talk to. i really hope she's a squadmate in the third

The problem is the engine. Bioware would have to tweek the engine. I've made two oriental type characters and the eyes blink funny. They for some reason. Always bleep in and out of the texture model of the eye lids. It happens in both. ME 1 and ME 2. I think they just may have to stick with them both. As for her being in the 3rd game I highly agree. She needs to be there and maybe be a huge part of it. I mean her steal skills are un matched!

I was thinking about ways to make the squadmates a little bit more dynamic if you stood around idle long enough. Sort of like how if you hovered behind Joker, he'd spout random comments. With Kasumi sitting with her knees close to her chest, I had thought of her occasionally stretching them out. Also, I thought it would be cute if they had a bit of a "minigame" where one of Shepard's ship models would go missing and you'd find it sitting among Kasumi's stuff. Click it to return it to Shepard's cabin.

Thinking about how we always saw Kasumi in her ninja gear, I wish the developers had put some work into some alternate outfits for some of the crew as the situation permits.... I mean, aside from appropriate armor. But now that I think about it, Kasumi's loyalty mission is the only one that probably would have demanded it. Shepard's wearing a nice suit, why isn't Kasumi wearing a nice dress, especially since the original intent was for her to go to the party as well? It's also somewhat weird to see Keiji's memories with Kasumi's hood always up. Even if the developers want to keep that half-hidden feature to it, replace the hood with a fancy shawl or something.

I think she was meant to go as Shepards Bodyguard.

It's also somewhat weird to see Keiji's memories with Kasumi's hood always up. Even if the developers want to keep that half-hidden feature to it, replace the hood with a fancy shawl or something.

I think that is because while she is surfing thru the memories, she is still in that transport vessel, She was basically walking around in the transport vessel, as you later find out at the cutscene.

Hey  know there is some good  J-pop/rock  some of it is better than the  absolute  GARBAGE we  are getting in the states... I will take that any day over Mile Cyrus(Cute girl just CAN'T SING).

Hahah, Japanese pop for Kasumi is fitting, I suppose.  I know nothing about it outside of T.M. Revolution and Gackt (primarily because of their association with Gundam).

I always envisioned this being Kasumi's theme song, though. 

Come on, imagine that playing lowly during the scene where you first meet her.  She's standing up in the rafters and Shep is a little bit confused.  The music slowly gets louder as the conversation begins to draw to a close and then she says she'll meet him on the ship, she turns and walks away, and the music overtakes everything else and the camera zooms on a slightly bewildered, but amused, Shepard.  Cut back to a close up of Kasumi's mouth which forms a smirky-smile as she saunters away.

Wait, that's not how that scene goes?  Well, it should have.

Who needs one...when you have the awesome Kasumi DLC music :D, its got everything you need from oriental styled parts, to sad / quite parts, to loud / action parts, plus it fits perfectly with her.

The only critique I can offer is that maybe the aura around Kasumi is little too prominent. And that probably only bothers me because that's how everything looks when I'm not wearing glasses.
