Any idea on musical themes for Kasumi?  Or even just general music assosciated with her? I'd imagine something pretty and Asian would suit her.. but still with some flare. I might try and see if I can find something.

I would think something with a hint of asian intruments and choir music and some techno. Something that sounds a little daring, almost like the theme tune to a heist. However, this song does not exsistPosted Image

I just want to add my support of Kasumi for ME3 as a full squad mate. She is pretty awesome.

Ive always felt that Kasumi and Tali are close girl-friends. Not girlfriends, but girl-friends, you know what I mean? Theyd totally paint each other's nails n stuff.

So, I've been considering playing through ME1 and then ME2 again (it's been awhile) and purposely not romancing anyone with the intention of romancing Kasumi in ME3. This is all mainly 'cause I've got some free time on my hands and I want me some ME fun.

What class do you think I should play? What alignment should I be? If you played ME1 + ME2 with Kasumi being you main attention, how would you do it? I still have to pick out a custom face to use, lol.

I would suggest Soldier or Infiltrator (using Tactical Cloak whilst Kasumi is using her Shadow Strike is very satisfying / useful). I would say mixed alignment: try to stay "in the middle" (neither to Paragon nor to Renegade), maybe tilt a little more so towards Paragon (be Paragon with Zaeed, Kasumi seems to admire you for standing up against him).
Choose the Alliance over Cerberus. Make Kasumi destroy the greybox (but do it in the nicest possible way^_^), telling her to let Keiji go.

This just my opinion, I'm sure others would suggest different things / other methods :).

I second this, using infiltrator with Kasumi is awesome, especially if you also have her flashbang power.

That's interesting that you guys think Shep should be a balance of paragon and renegade, with perhaps a tad more paragon. I was thinking of a paragon Shep believing he could..."reform" Kasumi from her thieving ways and put her skills to better use. Neither are wrong or right, but it just shows the different perspectives of Shepard and Kasumi's relationship, I suppose.

Infiltrator does sound really fun to play with her, though.

PLEASE KASUMI FOR LI AND SQUADMATE IN ME3. PLEASE BIOWARE.

Her loyalty quest was among the best bits of writing Bioware has done. Speaking of which, the writing for the loyalty quests were top of the line.

I never like the idea of Shepard reforming any of his squadmates. Kasumi loves what she does, and while it runs in the face of the law, you can see that her spirit at least is positive and good. Her skills will always be about infiltration, and given Shepard's line of work, those skills aren't anything that needs reforming.

Teh barbati seconds this. Being a thief is part of what Kasumi Goto does. Part of what makes her so cute. Sure, Kasumi being a thief may be breaking the law, but the way she so artistically carries out her heists is very romantic, if you ask me. And the part about leaving a red rose as a signature? That's just classy. Just my opinions.

(Off-topic: Do you guys know if there has been any fic written about Kasumi that I can dig up anywhere?)

I watched a playthrough of Kasumi's DLC..It reminded me of the plotline from some sort of anime. It was ok I guess, wouldnt call it top of the line personally. :?

Would Kasumi as LI for ME3 be possible? What about that recording of her old BF in her head? Something tells me she's sort of attached to him still...Not to say I would be against it.  (Dont tell the Tali thread)

Well you have an option to destroy (or make her destroy) the greybox. And even if you choose to let her keep the greybox, I think she would eventually get over him... she just needs more time to "heal" ^_^ (accept he's gone and move on........to Shepard :lol: ) .

The best part of Kasumi's DLC isn't so much the story for me as it is the level design. I find it to be one of the best level designs of the whole game, probably an artifact of it being a DLC that came out much later and so the developers had an opportunity to concentrate on giving it more detail and also learn from player feedback. The only level design from the main game that I think comes close is the mission on Haestrom. That mission has always flowed very nicely for me.

I've never really liked having Kasumi keep the greybox when I consider her feelings alone on the matter. They aren't her memories, they are Keiji's. She doesn't need to keep his memories in order to truly remember him, she has her own.

But I will have Kasumi keep the greybox from a purely selfish perspective on Shepard's part. With Shepard standing next to a monitor, I assumed he was able to view what was in Keiji's greybox just as Kasumi could. And no way would Shepard have missed the brief glimpse of that Reaper. Keep the greybox. Figure out what they found.

I think a lot has to do with the fact I play Paragon Shep like he was Captain America.  They're always looking at the positive side and believes that everyone has good in them, it's just a case that they haven't had the opportunity to use it.  For Kasumi, I envision her not stealing for personal gain, but stealing from someone who originally stole whatever item and then giving it to a museum or something.  I would never imagine reforming her to stop stealing all together, but use her skills for good.

I suppose some people play Paragon Shep as naive, but I always try to play the idealist who realizes that not everyone can see the world the same as he can.  Hell, if only the world had more people like that.

Maybe music by the Yoshida Brothers. A classical Japanese sound but with some modern stylings. Or something by one of the trio of artists from the Samurai Champloo soundtracks.

My Heart Holds by the Yoshida Brothers
Something downbeat and contemplative, maybe even reminiscent of a love theme.

Nightshift by Force of Nature
The perfect song to accompany a heist!

My infiltraitor destroyed it... I hope he did I cant remember, or was it my vangaurd ? Damn I need to check, anyway I would like to have shep impress Kasumi, but imo Vino is too big a threat to let  go, besides choices dont effect romance much. I hope shes back for ME3, and hope if she returns she is a LI but still retains her current personallity.

I think I have just gone from Talimancer to "I-really-want-a-Kasumi-romance-mancer"
Disappointing that she still loves that Keji dude and likes Jacob at the same time (I wanted to kill him at first, now I intend to torture him with singularity and whatever I can use to cause pain while he is helplessly suspended in the air), not only that, she has the ****** poor Zaeed conversation script...<_<

I like Kasumi's dialogue. The only purpose really of having Shepard join in on the conversation is if the squadmate is going to turn the tables a bit and get Shepard to provide some details about himself. This rarely happens in conversations. Click on Kasumi's various belongings, she'll tell you more about herself and her personality than any other squadmate. Click on her, you'd learn more about how the crew seems to work together and what the squadmates think about Shepard. So again, the only reason I'd see the need to go with a dialogue wheel is if Shepard is going to do more than just prompt for more info.

She is a Shep fangirl...She's my new top human Squad member now, topping Kaiden and Ashley. She gets bonus points for being Tali's best friend on the ship too. :P

Normally I've never been much for squadmates becoming best friends with each other and getting along with everybody, but in this case, I really do think Kasumi and Tali would get along quite well. Tali's become a bit jaded. She needs Kasumi to bring out that joy in what she does again.
