Hm...too bad this thread isn't insanely long like the Tali thread, which has a combination of tens of thousands of pages...

Are there any Kasumi fanfics? Perhaps I shall take a break from the endless Tali fanfics and start my own for Kasumi

been there done that...... even mentioned it on the Tali thread at the time when kasumi came out. Had to dodge quite an bit of debris from them.


Though I really hope it does happen. be nice to have an romance with another human other than ashley or miranda (both who I think are are ******-poor choices).

Indeed, Miranda is full of gloat, such as "I'm never wrong" (wanted to punch her horse teeth in for that), and Ashley is a racist. Frankly Tali is a good choice as far as personality, but hey, she can't have teh sex

I blame BioWare for lack of Kasumi love!  She didn't have a dialogue wheel...

She didn't have a dialogue wheel, yet with her abundance of comments, her personal belongings, and her loyalty mission, felt I got to know her better than some other squadmates.

Yup. Definitely knew her better than some other characters like Jacob, Miranda, or Morinth because of the abundance of dialogue that she had.

Just read it, very good work /  mini fan-fic (kudos to Mondo47:wizard:), got Kasumi's character / behaviour almost perfect ....though I don't like the Jacob & Kasumi thing <_<:lol:.

I have no idea which thread it was, but I think I saw one of the Bioware writers chime in on the Kasumi/Jacob thing and said he had good reasons to have her attracted to Jacob. The only thing I can think of is that Kasumi probably doesn't like to muddle a relationship with past issues either and she likes a good time. Nothing serious.

Personally think that Jacob should have been a casual romance option for Shepard, if they were going to force that relationship on us at all. With better voice direction. And better dialogue. Whatever, forget Jacob, this is the Kasumi thread.

I'm taking Kasumi to the Horizon mission because I've never taken her on that mission before. Should be interesting. At least her Flashbang Grenade is excellent for shutting down Harbinger.

Meh, I happen be attracted to Kasumi more, though since she is not romancable, I remain a Talimancer with full support given to Kasumi for ME3. At which point, if included as a romance option, I will then be a Kasumi-mancer

Anyway... after re-playing ME2 (again) I think I've found "Burt" :bandit:the security guard which Kasumi talks about...

(Seen just before reactivating Legion)... anyone know where the nearest airlock is .

I hope they bring her back in ME3, full squadmate, not like Ash/liara are now. And if they do bring her back I want several option not just LI, I would like her back as an LI, but Kasumi also should be a best friend option, she seems like a friendly person, nothing to hate her, and just all around seems likable. Unless your Hock.

I've noticed there's a lot of internal conflict for those who love Tali and find they love Kasumi as well. I can see their similarities when I look at ME1 Tali. That Tali had a certain spark, a certain lust for discovery and new situations that I think Kasumi definitely has. Tali in ME2 seems far more jaded about the galaxy, her sense of duty overtaking her wonder. That spark probably only shows during a Tali romance whereas Kasumi's spark is there regardless of romance.

That's probably why my own like of Tali transferred to Kasumi. I still like Tali and her character development from enthusiasm to jaded is interesting. But too easy to get jaded considering the type of work Shepard draws you into. Give Kasumi props for bucking the trend.

yeah Tali became more depressing in ME2, Kasumik still seems to have playful (best word for it) attitude and isnt as serious. Also Kasumi looks quite alot like Tali. Maybe its the hood.

OK. I just wanted to officially say it. Kasumi Goto is my favorite character in the Mass Effect universe.

I'm replaying the game now and waited a little bit in front of the terminal you need to interact with to first recruit Kasumi. If you wait, she starts saying different ads to try and get your attention. They're incredible:

"Have problems with Collectors? Try Kasumi's Credit service!"

"Shepard, we have the right companions for you. Perhaps Japanese, petite, and smart."

"Okay, really? How many times do you have to pass this terminal before you touch it?"

She's incredible.

Lol, I know the feeling, man. All the other characters were like, meh, for me, but then...
well, BioWare made Kasumi. And then I thought... whoa.... that chick is amazing.
