I can understand why some people think there are enough LI already but I think if Bioware would write an LI where Shepard makes the first move it would be a bit refreshing. They do this with FemShep but not at all with the MaleShep(odd considering real life is usually the other way round). Shepard does actually hint at wanting a relationship with Samara otherwise every other LI pretty much comes on to MaleShep.

For the people who think there are already too many LIs and I admit there are plenty I think this approach would be less distracting for them because him/her would just pick the opposite dialog option(as they can with Samara) and thus see no pining for one another.

As for my opinion I am hoping for Kasumi to become a LI because of the simple fact that I ended up liking her the most. Just like her more than Miranda, Jack, or Ashley. Sucks for all the single Sheps out there .

I honestly think that if someone was to be in the Bestfriend Spot that everyone seems to want to put Kasumi in that spot should belong to one person and one person only and that is Tali I am relly sorry for saying this but having Tali as a LI really doesn't make alot of sense I always saw her as the Little Sister for my Sheps don't get me wrong I just think the Shep/Tali Romance is a little messed I mean they can't be together without risking her health. Also I am not ripping on Tali.

Again, I agree (only see Tali as a younger sister)....however,  Tali  is arguably the most popular ME character, and if Bioware decided not to turn her into a LI, I'm guessing the Tali fans would start a riot .
But seriously, Bioware will have their reasons for making Tali a LI, and she does appeal to a lot of people. Bioware should make more LI, giving people more choices. Not everyone will like the same person, but if people are given a large® choice, then nearly everyone will be happy.

I'm a little dissapointed she was only in the DLC, both her story and abilities kicked ass and I use her now for a lot of my missions (deadly strikes works well on damn near everything). What stands out most in her DLC though is the following:



-Hock's party and getting a chance to do more of a James Bond sort of mission (only other one close to it was Samara's LQ but it wasn't as good as Kasumi's IMO).

-Fighting in casual clothing, I like the armor (Kestrel kicks serious ass) but a few more scenes of shooting with a pistol in a tux would be pretty cool.

-Lastly am I the only one who went "HOLY DUCK $#@%!" when I saw Kasumi run up the pipes, leap onto a gunship, then pulled a God Of War or Prince of Persia when she took down the shields? Add to the crazy acrobatics and her "landing" (where suddenly Garrus's speech about reach and flexibility made an encore in my head) well it wasn't until the bullets started flying at me again did I finally close my jaw shut and got back to killing Hock. I mean seeing some of our other squaddies doing something like that, not necessarily flying all around and leaping onto flying gunships but like what we see Thane do in the cinematic trailer as some of his other cutscenes? Or maybe have Grunt pull a Juggernaut and starting smashing down walls? Dragon Age 2 will be all about "legendary" executions so why not have that extend to ME3?



Tangent over, Kasumi kicks ass, bring her back!

The thing is I know Popularity is very importent to Bioware and their process but I wonder if Bioware had originally planned on not bringing Garrus and Tali back as Squaddies and just Cameo roles. And had Kasumi and Zaeed been made full characters and Love Interests I really wonder I myself would have still purchased the game because in my opinion their fans would rage yeah but really story wise they could have went in diffrent directions.

Everyone knows that I really don't like Kasumi's obsession with Jacob and the thing that factors in most is that like it or not Jacob stills has strong feelings for Miranda and he would choose Miranda over Kasumi everytime if he had to choose in fact Kasumi wouldn't even get a second glance from him but that is my opinion at least.But I am holding out hope that Kasumi will be made a LI in ME3 so my Shep will help her forget Jacob.

I'd have to agree with what's been said about Tali: her relationship with my Shepard is a sisterly one, both for the male and femsheps.



Being a big femshep fan, I barely put effort into playing as maleshep. Just recently I started up for once a SERIOUS maleshep file. I've always been attracted to Liara or Miranda, so I wanted to play out those romances myself for once.



But really, deep down, I really wanted to play maleshep so that maybe, just maybe, there could be a possible romance with Kasumi. Just something about her makes her undeniably SEXY, haha, in a subtle manner: the way she presents herself, her mystique, her cleverness, her precision and covertness in combat, her voice....



I hope I'm not the only one that finds those qualities of hers sexy

The ending choice had me really troubled, I decided to do the paragon choice though.

I had no problem with the choice. I wanted the information that got her boy killed. If I could have gotten it while destroying the memories I would have, no problem. Mustn't get all obsessed and morbid by never letting go of a dead person. Move ON Kasumi, but I want to know what the Alliance is implicated in.

I hope I can access that information in ME3, otherwise I might replay ME2 just to have Kasumi dump the grey box. It's unhealthy and morbid.

I don't recall what you recall vis a vis all the LIs coming onto Shep first.

I recall Shep being able to suggest/ask Tali if her comment indicated attraction.

I recall pursuing Miranda and me pushing through her character's reluctance.

With Jack, it was all push on her with her finally responding "You developing feelings for me?" My prefered Shep response would have been: "Absolutely" "Hell yeah", or "Nope, already developed" as an alternative.

Samara was all push push (knowing it wouldn't take) to see what happened.

With Kelly it was the direct "I may do more than just catch you" to get the ball rolling. So, to my thinking the only one who SORT OF came on first was Tali, and that was cautious and equivocal.

As indicated before, I chose to have her keep the grey box ONLY because I hoped to access the secret info that got the guy killed. I'll be pissed if all it does is feed her unhealthy obsession with a dead guy.

Then there's this: I took her on my latest run on Zaeed's loyalty mission. There she was leaning on the deck rail looking at the area around (waterfall in the background). "Holy SHEEEEIT what a bod! What an ass!" was the immediate thought. Followed by "I WANT IT".

All of them mention an attraction 1st. There maybe some exceptions but I was mainly commenting that everybody has to actually see a romance "prelude". I myself don't mind it but for the people who don't I was thinking of a way that they didn't have to like in the case of Samara. Pick the "romance" dialog option. Thus avoiding the "everybody wants Shepard" and "we have enough women pining for Shepard already" complaints.
