Her personality is OK for me, but in some situations her actions don't give the idea of a "brilliant theif", instead those actions give the very opposite of it. That is bad.

Alright then! That's your opinion, and I respect you for that. Suffice to say that, actions or no, I love Kasumi's character and her skills. She brings a sort of new life to the Normandy 2.0....(even though she doesn't have a full dialouge wheel.)

Such as,

1. Using an advertisement to gain the attention of Shepard in a crowded area and discuss details publicly regarding Shepards' mission details by doing so.

2. Staying in front of a camera while disabling it (she suppose to be an intelligent theif).

3. Not wearing an casual outfit that suits for the party (even though she gives a casual outfit to Shepard). By wearing that sneaky looking outfit she gain Donovan Hocks' attention and increased his suspicion.

It's stated that no one knows what Kasumi looks like. She even says so herself at one point. It's only until Shep breaks into the vault that Hock calls Kasumi out and even then, he dies at the end of her mission.

and I was under the impression that the advertisements on the Citadel were interactive, so Kasumi speaking with Shep while under the guise of an advertisement doesn't strike me as odd.

Unfortunately, due to Kasumi being DLC, the secrets of the greybox probably won't have a big impact in ME3, because of 2 things:
1. She is DLC: not everyone will have her.
2. You have the choice of destroying it.

Don't get me wrong, I would love to see her / the greybox's story have some big ramifications in ME3, but I don't quite see how Bioware could implement it.

But, you never know Bioware could pull a rabbit out of their hat (i.e. surprise us).

Hope your wrong but I do see your point. That's why I was curious they made it DLC when it seems like it could have such a big impact on the galaxy. Also I mean look at LotSB, that was DLC and there was quite a big impact in that as well so I wouldn't totally write it off.

Noble 6 wrote...
Btw, Is it just me, or do you think the Alliance might not have anything to do with the greybox's secrets.
When Keiji says "if the council got wind of this, the Alliance could be implicated" (something along the lines of that), to me that doesn't necessarily mean that the Alliance is involved. It could mean that because it has something to do with humanity, the council immediately think that the Alliance is to blame / involved. And quite possibly, a bit of investigation and a Paragon or Renegade choice could solve the problem.

It could go either way. But I have to say the Alliance is up to something with Anderson meeting with Cerberus in the LotSB DLC as well.

Shepard is pretty aware of her environment; two squdmates behind her, and kasumi on the balcony above.. i'm sure between four people someone eavesdropping would be noticed. The amount of noise in that exact area with cars landing and taking off, some guy shouting millitary stuff to recruits renders being overheard less risky, I would imagine.

2. Staying in front of a camera while disabling it (she suppose to be an intelligent theif).

Shepard walks back and forth in that area: does that mean Shepard does not understand the gravity of the situation? No one becomes suspicious and the game doesnt treat it as mistake.

3. Not wearing an casual outfit that suits for the party (even though she gives a casual outfit to Shepard). By wearing that sneaky looking outfit she gain Donovan Hocks' attention and increased his suspicion.

They just did not design casual clothes for her. Would've made perfect sense for her to change into armor along with shepard after breaking all the locks, and they are stopped initially because the guard finds the statue suspicious not because of her clothes.

Just played through the loyalty mission for the first time, and I have to say it was fantastic.

And I love how they added in that little bit with the sculptures in Hock's vault.

Would have been cool if you could have brought another squad member with you, also in formal attire. Though that would have been kinda silly for certain squad members....

I'm hoping I'm wrong too.

IF Bioware decided to do alternate appearance packs for all Squadmates, what design would you like to see for Kasumi ?

Would one of you lovely fans (of all of you) give me a run down of Kasumi's character? I'm trying to get her down for a fanfic. She's going to be one of my femShep's close friends throughout ME2 and it'd like to get her down.

Her attitude, strengths, weaknesses etc. Would you say that, given her proficency with an omni-tool at cloaking and overloading sheilds, that Kasumi would have other kinds of tech powers? If so, what would you give her?

Attitude: Playful, always ready to drop a joke, but remains professional at the same time. Also upbeat and sincere.

Strengths: Pretty obvious(infiltration, stealing, cloaking). Ability to plan heists(what to disable, how to enter, etc.)Nimble, athletic, can jump really highImage IPB. Will always get the job done.

Weaknesses: Not too many all of these companions are the best of the best after all. Best in the shadows. Not a front line fighter. Seems to like Jacob for some reason Image IPB.

As for another tech power, I could see her using something like neural shock, something to disable her enemies during a heist instead of killing them. Some sort of stun power to knock them out.

I imagine they couldn't change much since she would have to still have her hood. I would think they would save that reveal for later. Maybe something similar to her suit now with different material, color, etc.?

^^ Sums her up well, only thing I could add is she doesn't really 'open up'. While she is caring, she tends to keep to herself / not let anyone know the real her (though thats probably due to her profession, and possibly Keiji's death).

A part from the hood, they could change quite a bit.
I wouldn't mind a design of Liara's LotSB outfit (I don't know what its called, but I quite like her half-skirt / tail-skirt thing), Miranda's outfit, and Kasumi's outfit all rolled into one :D.

Nice Captain Iglo! You did a great job on all the characters, and the background is well made.

And you are right. Kasumi, Tali and Liara would make nice friends!

This is my new desktop background i love it !

I think it encapsulates her mystery while showing her vulnerable side that she hides behind the playful carefree exterior she shows to other people. She looks so lost in her own thoughts in this picture.

I still believe that Kasumi is without a doubt one of the most interesting and compelling characters that bioware has created and I believe that they really need to devolope her more either in DLC or in ME3

It will be interesting to see how Bioware will handle a character that is a.) onlöy available via DLC and b.) can die at the end of the game.

I really hope Bioware will be brave and add and develop her in ME3.
It is also higly likely that we will get DLC for ME3 after its release...maybe Kasumi will then come back as a dlc...that could also be a posibility.
