Having recently played through Kasumi's mission for the first time, I fully support having her return as a proper "squaddie" in ME3.

I am a little bored and am thinking about making a Shep/Kas LI Fan Fic



My Shepard/Kasumi Romance Fan Fic Idea

Kasumi only has two real friends on the Normandy her BFF's Tali and Kelly

She also has a close relationship with Shepard she confides in him and she trusts him completely.

Everyone on board know's about her crush on Jacob but the problem is Jacob still has feelings for Miranda.



My Shepard is single and loves spending time with his Best Friend Garrus who is constantly messing with him about him being single. He also has a close relationship with Kasumi who he has feelings for but tries to hide it. Nobody except Garrus,Tali and Kelly know about his feelings for Kasumi



Kasumi finally asks Jacob out and he turns her down politely telling her that he still cares for Miranda.

Shepard tries to console her but she ask's him to leave

Tali & Kelly overhear and both feel bad for both Shepard and Kasumi

Kasumi talks to her Tali and Kelly who help her see that Jacob may not have feelings for her but there is someone on board the Normandy who does. Kasumi asks who it is and all they would say is "Who is always there for you".

A Kasumi & Shepard romance fan-fic would be cool .  I'm pretty sure it would also be the first.

Kasumi Goto one of the most exotic and mysterious characters in the game Mass Effect 2. Interest to the other heroes of the game sometimes, " can close" her image.

I hope that we will see her in the third part of the game. With help of the music, (Two Steps from Hell), I prepared a little story about Kasumi Goto:

Yes it is. Bioware, it seems, takes into account the diversity of interests of players. Task - for each players (if possible) - to provide an opportunity of the maximum choice of "own" team. Kasumi also has a good chance to continue her adventures with the Commander. Even more so - on the planet Earth.

I expect the ending of the Kasumi DLC (greybox secrets) was designed so that if Bioware thought Kasumi was popular enough, then they could integrate it with ME3, and bring her back. Otherwise, it could just be left as a mystery. 

My argument for having Kasumi in ME3... Whats the point of creating such a beautiful, intelligent, intriguing, mysterious, charming / enticing, (and dare I say kinky )  character, if not to bring her back.
Simply put, Kasumi is just too good not to be put in ME3 .

Well and its also a good thing that the DLC characters are standard in the ps3 version...so maybe if it sells well on the ps3 it might be another little plus to add Kasum again.

Well if she isn't available as a squad mate in ME3, I hope BW has plans to make her a DLC again.

Kasumi is friendly and the only aquadmate with an good AI in insane mode. She dies less then Grunt and deals nice damage.

If you shoot her accidently she will not scream at you like Jack. I love her, she is the best!

I want to have her in ME3! She is part of my core team!

Good point Noble. Makes me think what is originally planned as DLC and what they didn't have time to complete before launch. I'm sure disc space might factor in there as well.

Anyway totally agree with your argument . I expect every squadmate to have at least some appearance in ME3. Of course I am hoping for Kasumi to be with you the whole game.

Speaking of ME3 after I saw the teaser it made me wonder if Kasumi was born on Earth or not. Another thing I hope we learn in ME3, more of her past and backstory.

I already preordered the PS3 ME2 and I can't wait to get into Kasumi...'s missions. XD

Seriously though, I'd really like her to be a LI, if not in expansion then (and preferably) in ME3. She's just so fun it's great! And I know "her design looks like a human Tali". Well...

...

Anyway she's sexy, hilarious, and badass. Love interest material if there ever was.

I was a little disappointed with Kasumi



Her mission was pretty good and I love the Lotus (the last section on Insanity was hair wrenching though). Bonus points for Donovan Hock's Afrikaans accent as well.



I just don't like not being able to flesh out her story more (same criticism for Zaeed Massani).



Ultimately I feel like her character is just pandering to the fanbase (more than normal I mean). C'mon, an enigmatic Japanese girl who strikes from the shadows? I just feel like maybe they're trying a little too hard with her. I'm sure she could be alright if they fleshed her out a bit more than they did.

Never been in this forum but popped in to show support. I like Kasumi a lot. I traditionally play femSheps and do NOT want her to be f/f, just good friends. I'd like her to be in ME3 as the girl Shep can talk to, not to ask questions about being a thief. That's all I have to say, I guess.

I really hope Bioware didn't waste their time making a whole DLC for her (and extra dialogues and all that throughout ME2) just to not have her make the cut for ME3.



That said, she better be in ME3 lol.
