I love Kasumi's sense of humor especially when I drag her to the citadel. By the way, I always thought Kasumi's choice of romance would be Jacob, since she does tak about him a bit and in the Shadow Broker's database, she defines him as Perfect in a poem. I think this is also the part where I get mauled for attempting to ruin ShepardxKasumi pairers

Kasumi and Jacob are too entirely different types of people. Kasumi is thief and Jacob is ex-Alliance righteous type. He would constantly harass Kasumi about her type of occupation and what not
So Renegade/Renegon Shep is better choice for her

I'm a fan, top-5 character to me. I recruit her early to replace boring Miranda/Jacob, and to get the fancy garb from her LM.

Taking down the shields on Hock's gunship is, hands-down, the most badass thing any character does in the whole game. I love the way Shepard looks at her like "you crazy SOB" when she falls harmlessly to the ground after that too.



Kasumi/Jack is the way to go for me on final boss. Both in the "weak" tier, so I leave the strong behind in Hold the Line. Plus I like the feeling of having an all-human squad, me and two little girls, delivering the final blow on the Collectors.

If Kasumi were made an LI, I would probably be tempted to do a run through where I give it a try.

The problem, though, is that my Shepards tend to be mostly paragon Alliance loyalists.  And, frankly, I'm not sure how such a Shepard would reconcile any feelings for Kasumi with the fact that she has an occupation he's uncomfertable with.

When someone falls in love with a person, they can usually get over any 'flaws' (in this case a penchant for kleptomania). It might be hard for a Paragon Shep, but I think they would work something out . 

For a Paragon Shep it might be similar to a Batman & Catwoman styled relationship (in the comics where they have 'hooked up').
A Paragon might be able to slightly change her ways. 
Maybe, only steal from the bad (in a way similar to Robin Hood), or some sort of spy for the Alliance.

Awesome fanart is awesome.

On the subject of Kasumi X Shep romance, I could see it. With a Kasumi X Jacob romance....not so much. I just can't imagine it. Either Shepare or Keiji, they are the only 2 people, and hell, Keiji more then Shepard. (If she isn't a LI in ME3, there had better be a damn good reason, like TIM brought Keiji back or something. )

I wanted to ask: What do you all think if Kasum was one of the LIs that was for both FemShep and DudeShep?

I really wouldn't care if Kasumi were an option for either male shep or fem shep. While I think it would be strange to have one of the existing LIs (Miranda, Ash/Kaidan, etc) suddenly become bi, I think it would seem less strange for a character that hasn't been explored as an LI yet.

I should say, my only potential problem with Kasumi as a LI is that I often feel like Shepard has enough characters throwing themselves at him/her. The fact that he has so many love options makes things feel almost unrealistic, which is why I liked the fact that Samara was unavailable to him, no matter what he did.

From that standpoint, having Kasumi as another, "I'm sorry Shepard, I'm just not interested," sqaud member could make things seem a little more realistic. If done correctly, it could also add drama, and be a rather heart wrenching scene.

I'm sure that idea isn't going to make me very popular here. But I just wanted to throw it out there.

EDIT: That actually makes me think of another question - if Kasumi is an LI, how should the romance progress?  Should Kasumi be the first one to show interest, or should it be up to Shepard to make the first move?

If Shepard were the first one to raise the idea of a romance, how do you think Kasumi would react?

Never really though she would be bisexual, but if they made it so, I'd be fine with that (got a lonely FemShep playthrough, who could use some love ).

DWH1982 no worries we Kasumi Fans ain't fanatical like the Talimancers are lol the thing is concerning added Kasumi as a LI really boils down to this most of the Female LI's are great and all but most of them I can't see ending well but you never know right.

The thing that really baffles me to no end is this Bioware has a bad habit of creating great and compelling characters and refuse to make them LI's I just think it is really crazy here are a few Examples bare in mind that I recently have been playing The Dragon Age Games. And The first of each list are the ones I think would have been the best.

Depends what type of Ninja.
Thane seems to be a better fighter (martial arts, etc.).
Kasumi is more stealthy (imo).


Here is another question, is there anyone in ME more flexible than Kasumi ?

Your question reminds me of a movie 'The Jackal'...There is a conversation piece in there referring to a Basque woman...it's said that as a Basque this woman lives by the vendetta, she loves by the vendetta and hates by the vendetta...it reminds me of the love Kasumi has for Keji...But I also get the impression that Kasumi can feel that way about another some day...aka...her interest in Jacob....So, yep, I reckon she could love Shep with equal passion.

If she does become a romance option in ME3, I will go back and play ME2 again and not get Shep involved with Tali in the first place...Kasumi would be worth it...Love Kasumi!!

Noble, do you usually play a femshep? I play a manshep and its him having to turn the women down...they make the passes at him....I have a friend who plays a femshep, I have watched him play a few times and noticed with the femshep, shep has to make the passes.

I play a mix of Male & FemShep.
In ME the female LI seem to be the first to make a move. In ME2 not so much.
Tali is really the only one who makes any noticeable advances towards Shep.  
Miranda shows a bit of interest, but Shep has to keep pushing to actually get anywhere. 
And with Jack its pretty much up to Shep to make the first move.
