Anyway... Kasumi how do you think she is for combat, for a light unit she is good, un like Tali whos only use is combat drone and the occasional drain.

Yes but AI is IMO to weak, Kasumi has flashbang, thats good against a group, backstab is good if your pinned down, overload for shields and she dose decent damage with the locust. Tali was just more of a diversion with the combat drone and the hacking, kasumi fits my playstyle better because she is more of an attacker. Will be fun on infiltraitor, I shoot them if they get close enough kasumi backstabs. This will be fun.
Yeah the mission is good, well worth it imo, she is one of he most useful squadmates, and im all for adding more characters, if they are interesting.

Yeah, you cant expect such an awesome character o not have a thread on page 1, even Ash is on page 1, and last time I checked Ash didnt have spiderman abilities.DrathanGervaise wrote...

She is a bonafied ninja. Her shadow strike or whatever it was called is awesome too; it makes my infiltrator jealous. I also might trade my armor-piercing ammo for her flashbangs; those things are awesome. She's also got skills that makes Master Chief envious; you'll know what I mean when you see it. That was cool and unexpected to watch. The Locust SMG is meh, but I'll probably use it more than the Tempest.
Also she bought me a cool suit that doesn't have the Cerberus logo on it.
I honestly don't know if it was worth $7; I just know that it really should have been included in the main game and her character should have been fully integrated. Of course hindsight is 20/20, but if they pushed the release date a little bit and gave us a fully integrated Kasumi, I would have been very happy. The only stipulation to that is that she shouldn't be a romance option, since it kind of messes up her story IMHO, but I'd bet that there would be rampant 1000-page threads asking for it.

Bumping threads to keep a character on Page 1 is like wanting to be the person who gets "First post!" into comment threads.
I'd rather look at a thread that had actual content and discussion about the character rather than idle chatter and several posts in a row that serve no purpose other than keeping the thread on the first page and boosting dick siz--I mean, page count. With AM50's character guide stickied, it's not like people won't find it anyway.
That said, as I've managed to annoy myself with my opinion on the matter, Kasumi is a great character to spark plenty of discussion. She gives you a glimpse into the world of espionage instead of warfare like most every other squadmate does.
How exactly does a greybox work anyway? I probably missed the explanation or the codex about it during my quick playthrough yesterday.

Her ninja abilities make me sad because they're everything I thought Thane would have. At least someone has them. At least they somehow figured out how to make a melee attack different and workable.ATKT wrote...

I think the Kasumi DLC was so well done because it wasn't included in the main game. The developers had the benefit of gamer feedback after ME2 was released. The level design for Kasumi's mission is one of the best, if not the best, in the game.ATKT wrote...

Also, agree that level design was great, it was fun and challenging to fight through. Firing a mass accelerator cannon at a handful of entrenched foes was fun. The scenery was amazing too; the view of the skyline was quite stunning.
