That dude is absolutely a genius, I love all his ME's artworks.

Speeching of else... I've got a tought question for you. What could do Kasumi if the worst happens and she won't be a squadmate in ME3? Do you think that she may just return to her "old job" or, after all she passed throught with Shepard and with the reapers invading the galaxy, she'll become something else than a freelancer thief?

Off course I'd prefer that she returns, but I'm curious to ear what you think would be an interesting alternative.

I'd be very happy if she comes back, squaddie and all, I'd prefer it that way. Disappointed if she's just a cameo, just anything is better then a f*cking e-mail....the only thing worse then the e-mail, is her not being in ME3 T-T

Considering she's a DlC character we can't exclude the cameo possibility. But "dismissing" her just with an email? Not a chance.

Hmm... It would seem a bit odd for her just to return to her old lifestyle knowing that the Reapers are on their way (that goes for all of the ME2 squadmates).

(Wishful thinking, if she wasn't a squadmate) -  Maybe something a long the lines of a specialist / infiltrator / spy, who would send Shep reports and information. Thats one way of keeping her in ME3, without being a squadmate and not some bad camo ( i.e.ME2 VS).

I just don't see how Bioware are going to write out a lot of squadmates, without upsetting lots of fans (they said they are only keeping the popular ones).

I always felt it was disappointing that we never got to get to know Kasumi (and Zaeed for that matter) as well as other characters. I still believe that the two of them should've been optional romances at some point after their loyalty mission. Was a waste in some ways.

If Bioware is just gonna give her a cameo I want it to be at the very least a long, deep and meaningful conversation. Like she's on Illium (Or anyplace remotely safe) or such and they talk about the end of the galaxy and how she feels helpless. On the other hand she has no regrets and is ready to go out with a bang.

Shep asks her to join but she denies saying she would rather help people in her own way. I could imagine an Independence Day like thing where she's part of a galaxy wide red cross movement to rescue survivors and take them to safe zones.

Seriously Bioware, don't turn her into Smoke from Mortal Kombat (Wasted Potential)

The more I think about her (and get used to talking to her between missions), Kasumi may be my favorite female character other than Shepard herself. She's the only girl who is truly independent, capable of living a stable life without my help, or anyone else's. Though I do want to get her to give back that Mona Lisa she has. That thing belongs in a museum!

None of the squadmates in ME1 got relegated to email-only status so I don't think anyone from ME2 will get that big a kick in the head. I mean, it could happen, but I think the writers are a little more keen on fan outcry potential than that.

Learning my way around fly-cam, different FOVs, and slomo / timing my stills, and managed to grab a rather nice portrait of the thief by a waterfall.

And, possibly a slightly different perspective on the usual "Leaning against Shepard" shot...

Stolen memories could prove to be a spark for events to come. I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if she has some involvement in the main story arc for ME3. A mere cameo would be ok if a bit disappointing. An email would be FAIL.

I seriously am a little worried about Mass Effect 3 Dragon Age 2 has me a little concerned I know Different Teams and all but still i am a little iffy but don't get me wrong as a devoted Bioware Fan I am still getting Mass Effect 3 and I still am going to play Dragon Age 2 when it is patched and in complete working order.

But anyway back on topic as to our girl Kas I still hope that she comes back as a Squadmate and Love Intrest.

I was over on one of the ME3 Threads discussing Potental Squadmates/LI's and a intresting point was brought up that Bioware will probably add new Love Intrests for both Male and Female Shepards and I believe that its not a bad Idea at all in my opinion. I just hope that all the Original LI's are brought back and then if they want to add a few new ones by all means thats cool with me.

Potental New Love Intrests:

Male Shepard
1.Gillian Grayson
"I don't really see this unless Bioware can come up with a good reason for her to be of legal age she is supposed to only be 15"

2.Kasumi Goto
"I still can see that Bioware could make a real touching Romance between Shep and Kas friends fall in love and then open up about their feelings for each other"

Female Shepard

1.James Sanders
"I figure he will be a LI for Fem Sheps"
2.Big Ben Sniper
"Maybe if he is recruitable many people like him so maybe LI for Fem Shep"
3.Joker
"I think it would be a good idea Joker is funny and quite popular"

Male/Female Shepard
1.Samara
"I personally think a Shepard/Samara Romance would be touching and intresting considering her code and all"

2.Shiala
" I am a huge Shiala Fan she was my favorite Asari in Mass Effect she has more story potental I mean a former Commando and the whole Thorian angle as well not to mention the Cypher not only that she obviously really likes Shepard"

I love his take on the mood of ME3, especially in this one.  Bioware needs to hire this guy

Too classy & stylish for Bioware.
Anyone ever notice that? Bioware games aren't very flashy

I just saw this on Deviantart, and was thinking I should post it here, but alas you beat me to it :P.
Not to keen on the purple stripes in her hair, but I like the longer hair on Kasumi :wizard:.

 Hi guys and gals.

For those of you haven't seen this pic already (posted in the Kasumi Goto - Squadmate for ME3 group's Photo section), here is a tester image for a special secret project I'm working on:

Posted Image
(Still working on modifying  the eyes and face textures).

Atm I'm testing several things, which will determine whether I can continue with this awesome secret project :bandit:.
However some feedback on the hairstyle would be appreciated :D. Does it suit Kasumi ?
(*Note: The hair has been 'air brushed' / looks like its being blown slightly, it would normally look straight).
I'm thinking I need to make the hair darker...

Yeah I noticed that while I was taking renders.
It is Kasumi's head model with no modifications, so I'm guessing the hood makes the head look different or possibly the In-game head proportions are different, or the import/exporter made a slight error.
Either way, I will edit the proportions to make her head look right for the final product :D.

Maybe it's a flaw of the original model that BW guys didn't notice because of the hood... her head looks totally of another shape without it.

I noticed that Kasumi has a very unique body shape compared to the default female body shape they use for other female character.

Turian Councillor: Ah yes, "Kasumi Goto". The asian space thief allegedly stealing my signature air quotes.

We have dismissed that claim.
