DUDE!!! You're a rockstar.

That totally works. No Event Manager needed.(which I found very confusing, with no real documention) I have to work on my logic just a bit. Because right now depending on the conditions at load, you have to equip, unequip, then reequip the item. But after that everything works as intended. I think I just need to add my Check inventory slot > set appearance logic to the 1st script during the module load case. And everything should be stellar. That is awesome. Thank you so very much.

As I mentioned upthread about that approach, I think it gets reset when followers (re)join, or whatnot - it's worth checking into and making sure anyway.

Ack, FollowTheGourd is right. The scripts get reset when the party enters or leaves the partypicker gui. You'll need to have your module reassign your player event handler to the party list when EVENT_TYPE_PARTYMEMBER_ADDED and EVENT_TYPE_PARTYMEMBER_DROPPED are detected.

So Can I just add those two cases to the module script. Or is there some freaky issue with these events.

You can just add them. The module script detects them the same way it detects module start and module load events.

Ok. Well I'm not sure if thats working or not.   I think it is working, but there's something funky going on with the equip event.  Unequip seems fine.

If I'm in party camp, I can equip the item and my speed is increased. When I select my party and go somewhere, the effect is still applied. However, when I have a full party present, If I unequip the effect goes away, but when I reequip the effect isn't applied. Now if I leave party camp alone, and go out into the world. Equip and unequip work fine, I can do it as many times as I want the effect turns on and off as it should. So it seems the equip event won't trigger unless the character is by herself with no other party members. Unequip seems to work fine with party members present.

After some further testing. I do think the party member adds are in fact working. There's just something buggy going on. After leaving party camp, if there is another mage in the party. I can equip the item on that other mage, and the effect is added to that player. I then switch the armor back to the main player, and it works. The only case thats not working is when I remove the armor from the main character, then add it back to the main character with party members present.  Yet I can add the item to someone other than the main character and it works fine, and after I do that I can add it back to the main character and it works fine.
