Even if she doesn't have a dialogue wheel, i have to admit she says some preety interesting things.
Also, she likes Jacob... hahaha :P

a interesting squadmate who even eithout a dialog wheel is fun and interesting and gives a comment if you slept with Miri

She mentioned Tali for me, I'm guessing she has a comment about all LIs. She's a definite step up in terms of interaction from Zaeed, but it's a shame there's no dialogue wheel.

The loyalty mission was fun. I enjoyed the sneaky Bond-esque bit most of all. The way it played kinda reminded me of those old point and click games where you have to figure stuff out. It was here I felt Kasumi was in fact too talkative and basically spoiled all the puzzles by telling you what to do.

I've only used Kasumi on her loyalty mission so far, but she seems pretty damn useful. Her loyalty outfit is pretty decent too.

After the terrible Firewalker missions, this has somewhat restored my faith in ME DLC. Was worth the money too IMO as, while I'd argue the Kasumi loyalty mission isn't anywhere close to 1 hour's play, you can take her on other missions too.

The Locust SMG is great. Mainly because it sounds like it has a silencer. :)

I hope Kasumi won't be an LI in ME3 as it would kind of make her loyalty mission completely irrelevant.

Overall enjoyed it.  It was fun and worth it.  I liked the Bond feel to the mission.

Kasumi is taking square aim at Tali fans (everything Tali has, but hotter... and a cute personality, sounds young.  The only thing diff is that she has been around the bend... but she is sappy and romantic, and loyal).  Her lower lips pops out a lot when talking from the side though.

The new gun is awesome... very *pew pew pew*

The voice acting of the bad guy was pretty... bad.  You could tell he was going for Scottish... and often got lost with that.

Loved the Shep outfit.  Femshep was looking good.

Agreed, hope she is a LI for ME3, because she is like Tali, except human and you can see her face. IMO I noticed het hips more than Talis...I get the feeling the Tali fans wont like that. Yeah hock was trying to be scottish.

 I grabbed a screenshot of the reaper many said they saw:
Image IPB

 It does remind me of Sovereign and the Alliance connection may have to do with the battle at the Citadel and what was done with the remains along with the policy towards the Geth "threat"......I'm a bit worried about how things will play out in the third game.
~
Watching the scene again made me realize how little Kasumi seemed to care about the Alliance information. She was understandably more concerned with remembering her lover.

I am taking Kasumi with me on a whole playthrough. Her unique dialogue is interesting and funny (she's such a cutie!) and OH CRAP she kicks ass in combat with her Rapid Shadow Strike - just completely deadly.

She acts how Infiltrators should have played. I love my infiltrators, it's my favorite class, but I didn't know what I was missing.. she's just a menace on the battlefield. One of the single best allies period just on her sheer ability to obliterate enemies.

With all these accolades, I may very well have to buy it. I assume it's better as DLC than Warden's Keep? (Main reason for my hesitation...)

Great piece of DLC. Only thing I didn't like was not being able to bring in my LI as a third. It would have been nice to see my Shepard walking in with Miranda.

Yeah, that would make perfect sense....wink, wink.
Especially since you can do Kasumi's loyalty mission right after doing Freedom's Progress....

Already posted this in the announcement page, but I didn't see this topic until now. Therefore, repost of what I wrote down there:

It was okay, but not worth that much money imo. It would have been worth the price if some minor issues were adressed:

*SPOILERS BEGIN HERE*

- Talking to an advertisement for a while seemed a bit weird, wouldn't people turn their heads for that? Was neat to get into contact with Kasumi that way, but holding an entire convo with it seemed sloppy to me instead of going to meet somewhere more private;

- I didn't get why the guard to the antagonist' private room was Conrad Verner with a bigger nose, different voice and a black Eclipse armour. Why not give him a regular Eclipse outfit like all the other mercs? Same goes for 2 guests wearing ambassador Udina's outfit, just seems kinda weird/ out-of-place thus killing some immersion imo;

- Only 1 squadmember (in this case, Kasumi) can join you on this mission. Wouldn't it have been more fun to have a second come along as well, just for continuity' sake (as you can always take 2 along in every mission)? Male companions could make for good dating partners for FemShep and bodyguards for MaleShep (and vice versa when your main is MaleShep). Would fit in storywise nicely imo;

- Barely any new lines for the other squadmembers. Joker didn't say anything about Kasumi joining the crew (although he always had his opinion ready for other people that joined Shepard). Joker also didn't answer Shepard when he/she asked Joker to send a scuttle ASAP. Some copy-pasting would have filled that right up, although I'm sure they're just trying to avoid having to pay for the additional lines by Joker, etc...

- The Graybox dilemma: Why can't you look at the data before deciding to destroy it or not? People would be able to make a better decision that way if they knew how bad this data made the Alliance look. Almost seemed like I was playingTexas Hold'em Poker where I had to call, check or raise without even being able to look at my hand.

A lot of this is nitpicking, I'll give you that but it's the details that make games great imo. Almost every game gets the big picture right, but details sets games apart from the others.

*SPOILERS END HERE*

Aside from that, the rest was pretty good. Kasumi is a nice addition to the team, but that's about it

Hock's accent sounded like a dodgy Afrikaner accent to me.

Good DLC though, bit short. Still, I don't feel like I was robbed. I like Kasumi as a character, though it was a bit disappointing that there's a lack of dialogue wheel as with Zaeed. The new SMG is nice too.

I liked the Kasumi DLC, it was waaayy better than Zaeed's, plus I got to see my FemShep in a nice dress that I can wear for Samara's loyalty mission! It was probably a little short but I didn't notice on my first playthrough, The end boss fight was good, much more memorable than some as well. BTW, did anyone notice the KotOR reference to Kasumi's last name? Kasumi Goto = G0T0/Goto (Kotor) I really liked that touch, that and all the other little eggs I've noticed so far, like the Planet of the Apes one in the vault :D

But the only thing really missing to ace her would have been a dialogue wheel, hopefully she stays a squaddie into ME3.

I agree, he defintely seemed to be more of a South African accent than Scottish by a wide margin I think.

Just finished it now, overall it was quite fun and I would say the price of admission.

I really wished we saw what implicated the Alliance though, I noticed a reaper... maybe some more illegal AI research?

Hock is a dutch name so that either means the voice actor was trying to speak with a dutch or afrikaans accent. Now maybe some of our dutch forumites can confirm which accent he's going with. Also I really liked the accent gave him a bit of character he wouldn't otherwise have.

I wonder how much the information on the Grey Box will be played out in ME3? Was this Bioware's way to let those of us who paid attention go "Hey....wait a minute...." ?

BTW, doing the fight outside against Hock & his buddies as a lvl 4-5 Engineer with an equally low level Kasumi on Veteran = Me going "Jesus, this crap is taking FOREVER!"  Then doing it with my lvl 30 Infiltrator on Veteran = Me going "F*ck yeah.  So easy....."

1 line of dialog depending on if you've played the DLC.
Maybe 2.

Just went through the loyalty mission and it was great. Good content, the kind that really makes the ME universe grow and feel alive. Now I am going to struggle to get every line of dialogue out of Kasumi. Too bad for the missing dialogue wheel, I just love talking to my squadmates, always hoping for more dialogue.

I liked it a lot. You can see Bioware gave a great attention to the mission, maybe the best loyalty mission IMO. The lines, the easter eggs, the music, the environments, cutscenes, boss fight, everything very much polished. It was a lot fun while it lasted. I loved the character, she's so cute and cool, liked her asian eyes. It's a shame she doesn't have dialogue wheel on Normandy. I didn't like the fact that the male shep's casual suit is just a redesign of the Cerberus's as fem shep has a totally new outfit, but that's ok. I think it was worth the 7 bucks. But I still hate DLC Bioware lol! It's just that I love Mass Effect too much. <3

The planet we were on was beautiful too. Hope Earth looks even more magnificent and bright.

I miss the bright worlds of ME1. I felt like we returned to that in this DLC.

Except this one was more industrialized, but it was still amazing.

Bioware, take note. WE WANT MOAR.
