Did you notice one of the asari had a british accent?

I did. Pretty sure it was Jennifer Hale voicing it, too. Good to hear the Bastila-voice again.

All right, just making sure I wasn't crazy.

Just played it a little while ago. This is based on a after you beat the game situation and not with an imported Shepard.
The good:
-Kasumi is a cool character. Her powers and combat tactics will be interesting to see in a new game.
-New toys. You get a new weapon, power upgrade and casual outfit to wear on the Normandy.
-Interesting museum to see. I know a certain Quarien who would love to get her hands on something in it. Wish I could fully explore it though.
-Not a full shooter mission.
-Finally get access to the Port Observation Room. Very questionable on the bar there for your crew to have access to.
-Hint to try. When you go recruit her, just listen to what she has to say before initiating any dialog with her.
-When the mission is over and you find out about her past relationship with her partner in crime. It should shut everyone up about possible romance plots with her and why it wouldn’t be a good idea.
The So-So:
-Flash Bang. When she used them it was a bit disorienting to me as well, more so than it should have been. Not even sure if it had a real affect on the enemies. OK someone mentioned that it was the enemies using them, my bad. However, it seems out of place that all of a sudden out of all the missions in the galaxy, I run across some enemies that are using them in the game here.
-The statue of Saren you bring to the party. There was no explanation as to where it came from or why it was made. Kasumi didn’t say anything about it other than its true use in the mission. Kind of cool though. I wish there was some backstory to it though.
-Bad guy home. A decent layout but very limited in actual access to where you can go. To bad nobody actually walks around or there is no one you can actually talk to.
The Bad:
-No recruiting mission, again. Just like Zaeed she is an instant squad mate. You just have to go get her.
-No real dialog. Just like Zaeed (again) her room is full of stuff you can click on to hear what she has to say. You can click on her as well but her dialog she says is very limited.
-Hunting for DNA on the plants… I’m not the brightest bulb in the world but searching there for DNA just seemed stupid to me. Kasumi even comments on it as well.
-The end of her loyalty mission was a let down. No sooner does the dust settle after you blow up the gunship does your shuttle show up. No scratch that, I think your shuttle flew through the gunship’s debris since it arrives so fast after your final shot.
-The combat can get a bit nasty when its just you and Kasumi. I don’t want to think how this will be like on the harder difficulties. Also there were more than a few spots where seeking “cover” resulted in me getting killed because I got stuck behind the wrong spot and shot by the person I was trying to get cover from. Also on the offensive again I ran into spots where I couldn’t shoot out from cover because the angles were apparently “just right”.
Final verdict:
-It ok. Not sure its worth the cost though for what you actually do get.

once I saw what it was all about though I was quite happy, turned out to be fairly interesting.
I gotta say however, I really REALLY wish I could have gone back up stairs and shot all the fancy people in suits...
walk back into the party in my battlegear assault rifle in hand and say... "I'm commander Shepard, and this is my favorite part of the mission" -then opening fire on the party.

Too short for the bucks. Otherwise it was pretty good.

Its better to embrace the current price to content ratio, because all signs point to it being more expensive and not cheaper.

Tooks me an hour and twenty minutes on the soldier Paragon, exploring every dialogue choice, listening to every conversation, and as it had been a while since I had played having trouble but not getting killed on casual.
Took me forty minutes on the second play through, reading the same lines so skipping the talking and only listening to the new dialogue options from choosing renegade lines. She is a sentinel and by then I had re-accustomed myself to the game so breezed through.
On Kasumi, I didn't like the character. Probably didn't use her correctly in combat. She looked like a weird Quarian in shape with a funny looking face. I just don't think she was well rendered. Voice acting was ok.
In short, 2 hours of entertainment for $7. I wish all my DVD's were that cheap and entertaining. And now we have a bar, we better be able to have a party
