I think that's why they made sure he wasn't just missing his dong. If the statue had been intact but for Mike's, uh, "Richard" it would have annoyed me. Since it was also missing a leg, it didn't bother me in the slightest, because it was clearly damaged some time ago. This Is Delicious wrote...
Let me tell you how I feel about this expansion! It was good, until I saw Michelangelo's David. Im not a huge art buff, but I knew something was missing. Aside from some limbs, it was, to put it simply; his dong. Now, I know bioware is all, AFRAID, of expressing themselves more artistically becuase of FOX news and feel they have to keep things PG-13 in a M rated game...However... They can feel free to censor their own works, but how dare they to anothers! If they were afraid of the dong, they shouldn't have bothered to put it in there to begin with! *gets off soap box*
Excuse me, I have been drinking. BUT IT IS THE TRUTH!
Though it would have amused me if all that was left of the statue was the penis and Hock had that, and that alone, on prominant display.

Too bad it wasn't released earlier, I'm up for another run through the game with her in the squad to see what she offers but some aren't and honestly it doesn't add as much if you're already finished. I'm recruiting her on completed runs anyway in case she makes a ME3 appearance.

I grabbed a screenshot of the reaper many said they saw:
It does remind me of Sovereign and the Alliance connection may have to do with the battle at the Citadel and what was done with the remains along with the policy towards the Geth "threat"......I'm a bit worried about how things will play out in the third game.

Watching the scene again made me realize how little Kasumi seemed to care about the Alliance information. She was understandably more concerned with remembering her lover.
Maybe the Alliance have a "tame" Reaper?

Yeah. I'm thinking (guessing) the information proves that it's the Alliance behind the Reaper-cover up, it's the Alliance who have prevented the Council from learning the truth, and that Cerberus never went rogue and are still an Alliance black ops group.
Yeah, this would actually explain a lot on that matter, which would fix a lot of loop holes from the game.

...you can't exactly "tame" omnicidal SpaceMechaCthulhu... but the idea is probably not too bad, they might have the planet-side wreck of a derelict Reaper or something. I mean: We know that Protheans observed the early Cro-Magnons. Protheans had a research base on Mars. Reapers probably found them, yet there's no evidence of saturation bombardment of Mars.Cascade wrote...

Possible conclusion: Protheans actually shot a Reaper (or a Reaper/indoctrinated Prothean base) down over Mars and it's probably crashed and buried under mounds of stone... but humanity found it. Would explain - in a way better way than "some prothean artifacts" why humans in ME2 are freaking everywhere and why humans are pretty good at the whole biotics/spaceship thing, despite the fact that most other species are around for centuries longer.
Also explains why TIM knows so freaking much about... everything: he's on Mars.

The only thing I thought was a bit OTT was 'spider woman' at the end, although any doubts about Kasumi's usefulness in the last mission are now gone.
Wish my Shepard could do that, but he doesn't have(as much) bionics like Kasumi.

Okay, I'm loving the idea that the "small prothean data cache" was actually a Reaper and that's why humanity have done so well within 28 years.Lord_Tirian wrote...

Ah yeah, love it.
And the very reason why Cerberus would have been created.
Remembers me Babylon 5 with the buried Shadow ships discovered, studied and finally reactivated on Mars who allowed the Earth Alliance (dang, one more similarity) to make a huge leap forward in ship design.
Also match the very gloomy athmosphere of the ME franchise.

I think the truth will be told regardless of whether you have the data destroyed or not. If it was really that important it would have been implemented into the game and not dlc imo.
It's not the first time the Alliance have done something behind the councils back. Wonder if Anderson is a part of it or not. May get some clues from the next ME book Retribution.
I hope sending that cerberus data to the alliance doesn't come back and bite me in the a** lol, because I played the dlc after finishing the game and feel all paranoid lol

FOX news has nothing to do it, the Federal Communications Commisssion has everything do to with it!

There are plenty of well known pieces of art that could've been used in it's place.
They chose to put in Michelangelo's David, they should've put it in intact.

Yes because art like that would be intact that far in the future.............
