My opinion is, I liked it. Would've liked it more for $5, but what's $2 really? It took me about 50 minutes to beat it on Veteran. I would pay $7 in the future for similar DLC packs.

The new gun is awesome. I love it. Sadly I got Kasumi on a save file I already finished, so I can't use her until they add more content. However I'll beat the game again sometime in the future.

Kasumi is a great character. Looks cool, some nice lines, and seems really useful in combat. The only major complaint I have is the cutscenes seemed waaaaaaaaaaaaaay low res. Like damn near PS1 quality. I dunno what's up with that but it took me out of the game for a second.

This thread is for constructive, mature feedback. Please no name calling, flaming or any kind of nonsense that could get this thread closed. This is to ensure feedback that hopefully BioWare can use towards future games/DLC.

I think she's a very cool squad member. I love her abilities and see myself using her from now on. The over all experience?...

Very, very, short. For $7, I think this should have been like... $4. Yes, I did get a new weapon and squad mate, but I think the damn Hammerhead DLC is longer. It's not HORRIBLE, it's actually good, but the biggest problem with it is it's WAY to short of a DLC. And also the fact there is NO conversations with her is another disappointing fact to me.

My final judgement?
Somewhat Disappointed + I liked it

Here's a poll... And better than the one I did for the Hammerhead

social.bioware.com/914433/polls/4328/

I agreed. For paid content it should had been longer. This is the best game currently out. Need more content.

She was awesome. The new area is awesome. I loved the mission, especially walking around and listening to people at that party. I hope Bioware keeps releasing missions like this.

My thoughts are that I don't buy DLC no matter what it's about. If they ever release an expansion that has all the DLC on it, then I might buy it.

So... why even bother posting here then? Seem like a waste of time in my book.

QFT

Guys, when someone asks for opinions, they are not all going to be what you want to hear. And there's nothing wrong with that. To prove the point, I'll say it again.

My thoughts are that I don't buy DLC for any reason. If they pack it all together in an expansion then maybe I'll buy that. Those are my thoughts on it, just like the OP asked for.

The OP asked for opinions on the Kasumi DLC specifically, your stated opinion is as to DLC generally and therefore does not in any way address the request of the OP as you try to elude to it doing.

An opinion as it relates to a specific subject is a personal IMPRESSION of said subject, you are 100% incapable of formulating a personal impression of anything you have no credible knowledge of or first-hand experience with.

Therefore, you not only wasted the OP's time, but are actually naive enough to waste your own time.

Her loyalty mission was predictable, but probably the best loyalty mission in the game. I need to try out the new Locust SMG on my Vanguard, I only tried her DLC as a Soldier.

*examine: plant* LOL

i really liked the mission. and the gun. the music was really good too. it added a unique 'kasumi theme" about it. so it doesn't feel 'cheap'

The dress was okay.(arms look a bit funny) at least we get to keep it :P i really love her room. see, the crews rooms should be personalized like that.

also got Shepard a purple cocktail-almost peed in kasumi's room! lol

I loved it. The level design was excellent. The story was compelling. The mission was detailed and nuanced, offering a lot of interactivity and exploration.
Absolutely worth $7 Dollars, don't let anyone tell you different.

The *examine: plant* and *examine: clock* were both hilarious.

I thought FemShep had a bit of muscular arms in the dress but she is a soldier and her legs looked a bit on the pudgy side. But I got used to it and then when I saw the dress on the Normandy I didn't want to take it off.

yeh i did that examine clock. i didnt think my shepard would set if off, SHE WAS MEANT TO JUST SCAN IT. my shepard is abit doppy LOL examine plant was just for fun though

i think it was just more the position of her arms not the size/shape. loosen up shepard! they just needed to go down-relaxed.

Overall I would have to say this is by far the best DLC to hit a game in 2010 thus far.

No way. Greabox's General Knoxx's Armory has been BY FAR the best DLC to date in 2010

Cost was a bit much but the enjoyment won me over. I liked the hip kind of flavour this mission had and it's by far one of my top favourites now for loyalty missions. Kasumi is a sassy character with a story that keeps me wanting to know more. I hope to see more quality DLC that are created similar to the style of this one but with a bit more length.

I've always enjoyed the loyalty missions that weren't straight "shoot em ups", and this one delivered. Very "spy thriller" with my infiltrator running around in high heels with her pistol-- really got to use tactical cloak to good effect. Love to see more cloak and dagger adventures like that where we don't get to drag out the whole arsenal, but have to make do with civvies and small arms (of course, adepts are at an advantage here, but *shrug*)

Kasumi has the best room on the ship. She has the best loyalty mission on the ship. And she comments on your LI. And she has something new to say every time you walk on the ship. I love you Kasumi. I hope Bioware makes more missions like this.

The cost was alright, the new sub-machine is very nice, kasumi is a c+ character at best but we do have a bar now which is cool. I must say there were bunch of things that made me laugh, like finding $1 in the couch, or the reference to planet of the apes, it was pretty good DLC all in all.

Kasumi doesn't shut up, I love it! Dialogue has always been my favorite part of Bioware games and this DLC delivers on that front. Compared to Zaeed, Kasumi is so much more interesting and personable. She referenced my relationships with different crewmates. Kasumi talked about Tali's feelings for my Shepard, that was insane! And most importantly Kasumi has an interesting story and she tells it well.

The mission itself was fantastic. I loved the first half! It was so classy. I just walked around the mansion listening to what everyone had to say for a good 15 minutes before I even attacked any objectives. Figuring out how to break into the vault was fun and new. Some of the gags in the private quarters had me laughing. That's what I want from my Mass Effect 2 DLC, some humor and fan service. And of course the combat was as fun as ever! The last encounter was good stuff.

I'm too ready for some more DLC, Bioware! I want to give you more of my money! More missions, more fanservice, an expansion. I'll buy it all.
