Are kasumi's flashbangs considered a tech power and do they benefit from tech upgrades?

I don't believe they are tech power since you're not using your omni tool.

You can have an opinion on whatever you want to have an opinion on. My opinion is that no DLC is worth what is being charged for it, and that includes Kasumi. It's just an opinion, the same as your own.VettoRyouzou wrote...
You can't have an opinion over what you refuse to play thus a waste of time frankly I think your just doing it for the attention now.the_one_54321 wrote...
Guys, when someone asks for opinions, they are not all going to be what you want to hear. And there's nothing wrong with that. To prove the point, I'll say it again.atheelogos wrote...

My thoughts are that I don't buy DLC no matter what it's about. If they ever release an expansion that has all the DLC on it, then I might buy it.
QFT
My thoughts are that I don't buy DLC for any reason. If they pack it all together in an expansion then maybe I'll buy that. Those are my thoughts on it, just like the OP asked for.
If you really think I'm just doing this for the attention, how about you stop giving me attention? I'll have opinion stated without being harassed for it, and you'll have me no longer responding to your posts claiming that I don't deserve to have an opinion. But as long as you post saying that my opinion is less meaningful than yours, I'm going to respond and restate, yet again, how my opinion is just as valid as any others.
Alright kids...that's enough or someone is going in timeout.

Bar was the greatest addition, if anything besides the Casual Outfit, the SMG which is supposedly amazing.
I do have to say, she's a keeper atleast. However, she does feel even more squishy then my other party members, I'm still not replacing Zaeed as my favorite character.
Squishy? You felt her up?

So her first name is Japanese and her family name is also Japanese ... God damn it, she is clearly a Native American.

The good:
-Kasumi is a cool character. Her powers and combat tactics will be interesting to see in a new game.
-New toys. You get a new weapon, power upgrade and casual outfit to wear on the Normandy.
-Interesting museum to see. I know a certain Quarien who would love to get her hands on something in it. Wish I could fully explore it though.
-Not a full shooter mission. (edit add)
-Finally get access to the Port Observation Room. Very questionable new feature for your crew in there.
-Hint to try. When you go recruit her, just listen to what she has to say before initiating any dialog with her.
-When the mission is over and you find out about her past relationship. It should shut everyone up about possible romance plots with her and why it wouldn’t be a good idea.
The So-So:
-Flash Bang. When she used them it was a bit disorienting to me as well, more so than it should have been. Not even sure if it had a real affect on the enemies.
-The statue you bring to the party. There was no explanation as to where it came from or why it was made. Kasumi didn’t say anything about it other than its true use in the mission. Kind of cool though.
-Bad guy home. A decent layout but very limited in actual access to where you can go. To bad nobody actually walks around or there is no one you can actually talk to.
The Bad:
-No recruiting mission, again. Just like Zaeed she is an instant squad mate. You just have to go get her.
-No real dialog. Just like Zaeed (again) her room is full of stuff you can click on to hear what she has to say. You can click on her as well but her dialog she says is very limited.
-A certain part in the mission where you need to collect stuff to open a safe. Without trying to give away things, lets just say the looking at the plants part. I’m not the brightest bulb in the world but searching there for what you might find was just stupid to me to even be a choice. Kasumi even comments on it as well.
-The end of her loyalty mission was a let down. No sooner does the dust settle after the final battle does your shuttle show up. No scratch that, I think your shuttle flew through that dust since it arrives so fast.
-The combat can get a bit nasty when its just you and Kasumi. I don’t want to think how this will be like on the harder difficulties. Also there were more than a few spots where seeking “cover” resulted in me getting killed because I got stuck behind the wrong spot and shot by the person I was trying to get cover from. Also on the offensive again I ran into spots where I couldn’t shoot out from cover because the angles were apparently “just right”.
Final verdict:
-It ok. Not sure its worth the cost though for what you actually do get.

Note that the flash bang effects in the mission are from your enemies, throwing grenades at *you* - that's why the effect is so disorienting and has no effect on enemies. Kasumi doesn't have the flash bang power during her mission (like all loyalty powers).Darth Drago wrote...

Once you use the flash bang grenade yourself, it won't look distracting and have a very noticeable knock-down effect on enemies (the power is down-right amazing so far).
Note that she has a new dialogue bit after lots of story mission, as far as I can tell. She also comments on romances. It's not as good as real dialogue, but it's fun to listen to, so make sure to talk to her occasionally when you do a new playthrough.Darth Drago wrote...

- Kasumi is basically the female equivalent of Zaeed. The only worthwhile dialogue occurs during the mission. Other than that, you'll have the same type of Normandy dialogue as you would with Zaeed.
- I guess the Locust SMG is a nice little addition to the arsenal. I'll have to begin another playthrough to figure out it's actual worth (I played this DLC on my post-completion save).
- I would say her mission is pretty damn interesting. I especially loved the blend of "playing it cool" and then leading up to an epic boss battle.
- Oh yeah, I can't forget how good Ms. Alison Gunn looked in that dress. Saucy! d(

I more or less disagree with everything in your post, but this kind of bugs me too. I guess it's acceptable since it isn't really the end of the mission, but only the lead-in to the ending cutscene, but it does come across as very strange that they wouldn't even radio them first or something.

Do you mean how Femsheps masculine movements while wearing the dress? Yeah it was funny how femsheps are still so masculine with their attire. I was half expecting my femshep to trip on her heels.Meglivorn wrote...
Just started the mission...
But surprised: nobody mentioned the dress at all???
(OK, a bit turnoff with the crappy move animation but still... just love it).
