What'd you guys do? I kept it, leaves more loose ends for Mass Effect 3. I heavily considered destroying it, though.

I destroyed it for her. Its what her lover wanted, and the info seems to be bad news for the Alliance, who I am still loyal to.

I wanted to keep it because destroying info like that would be a waste, could be an advantage in the future.

I kept is, as I had no idea what the info actually was - sight unseen didn't do it for me.

Still, if it's dangerous enough for the Council to find out..

Although I wonder, does the companion say "Should the Council find out" and such if you have an all-human council?

I kept it for her, she wanted it to remember her man. Ulterior motive is that I might be able to use it to leverage the Alliance into helping me at some key point.

I'm worried though, sounds like the alliance is into something bad. Definitely has something that will be in the plot of ME3.

I'm not so sure how I felt on the subject of the graybox. For one Keiji wanted Kasumi to destroy it, and I mean it's his graybox, you should respect the wishes of the dead.

However, it's not like Kasumi can never destroy it in the future. So I decided to go with keeping it, she seems capable of handling herself and you know I figure my Shep can watch over her if it becomes an issue, after all I've taken down reapers, hordes of geth and a thresher maw, what can the universe throw at her that I can't take care of.

Although kudos to Bioware this was one hard decision for me to make.

Kept it.

She wanted it to remember her lover, and it's also something that I can use against the alliance.

I'm not loyal to them anymore, they didn't even look for me when I died.

No point in destroying something just because it's bad for the Alliance.

I stand for good, not humanity. If the Alliance is in some bad ****, I'm gonna expose them.

I might keep it, if the Alliance is in too some bad **** I would want to know. Hell, I stand for good not evil, so if the Alliance is bad then they need to be taken down along with Cerberus.

Does Kasumi's lover say "Should the Council find out?" if you create an all-human council? Because I think this dark secret wouldn't harm the alliance as much if the council is all human, unless the council is corrupt (likely).

I thought the Renegade council was the original species but the human was the de facto leader...

Either way he says destroy it. No idea why though. I thought I saw what looked like a Reaper. Could be wrong though.

Renegade with Council killed is always all-human, if you're Paragon and kill the Council you can remake the Alien council.

Doubt it.

Same here. It'll be a good thing to have something on the Alliance that could be used to get them to actually do something useful in the fight against the Reapers.

I kept it. I could give a rat's ass about Kasumi and her ''lover''. Soon as I heard he had dangerous info that's what I wanted. It proved to be an easy decision to make. Especially since you see a damn reaper in his greybox, and the whole ''if the council ever finds out...''

When I play my main shep I have NO love for the Alliance.

I destroyed it myself with my maleshep.

No need to endager the alliance in this delicate times.
Plus you know, helping her forget her former lover may open her up for romance in ME3 :innocent: (chances are low, but one can dream...)

My femshep may let her keep it.

Told her to keep it for my own selfish reasons, because I want to know what the information is. But it seems she can get lost in her own memories. A bit of solipsism as Thane would say. That can't be healthy.
