I made Kasumi destroy it herself. I played as my super Renegade Shep.
Kasumi ending choice. [spoilers, duh]

Kept it ... for Kasumi also could have sworn I saw a Reaper in there, but could be something else.

My Renegade femShep thought about it, but a) doesn't care about the Alliance or the Council all that much anymore and
is a total romantic, so she let Kasumi keep it. Also, c) she really wants to know what is in there. What can I say, she's nosy.

I believe a Reaper is one of the first images you see. Kasumi's partner says it would harm the Alliance. I know there's a book coming out about Cerberus and Reaper technology. Which just goes in my pile of suspicion that Cerberus is still the Alliance's super covert secret group.

I kept it. In part for the sentimental reasons, and in part because I want to be able to blackmail the alliance with it.

Fun mission. I like the little touches. The Ogre statue from DAO. Shepard finding some change in the couch (A CREDIT CHIT!!!!). The Statue of Liberty Head. And the new SMG is simply awesome!!!
Oh and femsheps dress, very nice!!!!

Yeah, I think you are right. When Shep finds out (my Shep anyway) people will die.

I saved it at first, because of the Reaper image that shows up as soon as the cutscene between Kasumi and her lover show up. That could be big.
Then I went back (I save every chance I get), so the second save I deleted it for her. I have nothing else now before the Reaper IFF, so I figure if I want to try both options when ME3 comes out, I'll be able to do it. I usually keep multiple saves on hand like one right before the ending of Tali's trial (war with geth vs peace), Samara's loyalty missoin, etc. That's helped me find every which way to enjoy ME since I did the same thing for ME1 as well.

I let her keep it, because I hope in the end when all is said and done that it'll badly hurt the Alliance

I told her to keep it. I really want to know what the Alliance did!! I was so disappointed we didn't get to find out what it was!

I kept it. Not because I cared what it was, but because the only reason to destroy it would be to protect her. And there is nowhere in the galaxy safer than the Normandy.

I had Kasumi destroy the chip on my Infiltrator FemShep since she was renegade and then I did it on another Infiltrator FemShep again and I destroyed the chip myself.
I will go through it again one of these days and have her keep the chip.

I had a very hard time with this, and it wasn't for the info per say it was the fact she couldn't move on if she kept staring into the past.

I let her keep it, because I talked to her in her room before the mission and heard her talk about her keepsakes, and I noticed that she's someone who needs objects and physical mementos for her memories.
And I also wanted to keep the secret as leverage in case I ever needed it in the future.

Only one playthrough so far, and I let her keep it.
1. Could be useful information
2. She wanted to keep it
3. If the Alliance is doing something dangerous/stupid/bad, then I would like to know
Only problem is that she could become a target, but didn't seem like she cared about that part.

That 'per say' you have there is 'per se', pronounced as you've spelt it though.

I could be wrong but I think you could see a reaper in the first image at the end when the dead dude shows Kasumi all the memory files. Found here at 1:28

No need to endager the alliance in this delicate times.
Plus you know, helping her forget her former lover may open her up for romance in ME3 :innocent: (chances are low, but one can dream...)
My femshep may let her keep it.

Really, I think Keiji's justification for destroying it is kinda weak. "If you keep it, people will keep coming after you, and I can't protect you." And if she destroys it... what? People are going to stop coming after her? And if she tells them, "I don't have it anymore, I destroyed it," are they really gonna believe her? Or just decide to torture her until she gives up its location, more likely, if the information that's on it is really that big of a deal.
Honestly, unless you're really big on protecting the Alliance, I don't see any reason why she shouldn't keep it.

I value the mans wish, I asked Kasumi I picked the middle option and she aggreaed that it had to be destroyed. It brings her peace.

I destroyed it for her first time, just didn't seem right not observing the guy's wishes.
