In order to play the Kasumi DLC, I pulled out an older save with my standard Infiltrator class. I'd been playing a Vanguard for the past couple of weeks and just started an Engineer playthrough today. I had a lot of fun playing as a Vanguard, too.

But as soon as I got the Widow back in my hands and took out the heavy mech with that perfect headshot leading to nuclear meltdown, I remembered what made the Infiltrator great. As I took down half the health of an Eclipse from afar, Kasumi would go in for the up close and personal kill. We made a good team, Kasumi, the Widow, and I.

This puts my Engineer playthrough at risk, though. Suddenly want to play an entire game as an Infiltrator again. I just have to keep telling myself the Combat Drone is my friend and it will not let me down. Plus, will probably get better use out of the Locust SMG with an Engineer.

Ahhh.....I felt the same twinge on my heart strings last night. My Renegade Infiltrator has long ago done EVERYTHING in ME2, so he's been shelved for 2 playthroughs, only pulling him out for Firewalker....but you dont get any personnel combat in that pack.

First time in awhile I got to whip out trusty old "Pwnie" and put some Widow rounds through heads.

I have this same problem. I mained Infiltrator all over the place in ME1, so in ME2, guess what my first choice was?

I keep WANTING to try Vanguard or Engineer or Sentinel...but I keep going back to Infiltrator because it's SO DAMN GOOD.

And the allure of the Widow is an irresistible siren's song.

My suggestion? Keep the faith, my infiltrator brother, that is if you still have missions and a game to beat with your infiltrator. Since you've already loaded him/her up you might as well make the most of it.

When everything is done, or if there's nothing left to do, then I'd say go back and lavish some attention on your Engineer.

Have to agree, I barely get 1/4 of the way through the game before I start another playthrough as Intrailrator, I just love the widow too much.

Widow withdrawal did make my Sentinel and Vanguard playthroughs tough at first. Eventually, I found elements of both of those classes that was just as fun. Suicidal most of the time, but fun. Doing something crazy stupid is as satisfying as lining up that perfect headshot.

So I had started a playthrough as an Engineer. Since the Kasumi DLC came out, I haven't touched the game aside from just doing the Kasumi mission. Because I am depressed. I've seen the Engineer videos. I love using Tali and Legion's combat drones. I was liking using my combat drone. But when I sit down to pick up that playthrough where I left off, I stare at the controller and am sad. I want to be an Infiltrator again.

So the Engineer playthrough will have to wait yet again.

I used to be infiltrator. My new vanguard is way more fun for me for some reason.

I recently went infiltrator, after a full playthrough of engineer and sentinel. Since i went infiltrator i haven't looked back, especially after you pick up the uber sniper. Vanguard was okay but i never completed the game with it, it became boring for me as vanguard, i just didn't like blasting everywhere i guess.

Don't worry, the Widow is a very forgiving lover. She finds your secret flirtations with other classes exciting. Why? Because she knows that in the end, you will always return to her embrace.

I'm thinking of using it for my Insanity run too. On Senti right now. It's not bad, but, it's a bit short on guns, even after advanced training.

I just finished Infiltrator insanity. It was pretty damn easy, really. The Collector platforms took me three hours of frustrating trial and error on my soldier, but I nailed it on my first try on infiltrator.

That's why I did my other playthroughs first. Now, that I am an infiltrator, I don't play any other class...

Going lower than Insanity is impossible now too...
