It sounds terrible, it reminds me of a woodpecker or someone knocking on a wood block - too bad because it's a good gun - the sound totally ruins it for me too. I think for a sci-fi game most of the weapons actually sound pretty lame though. In Garrus' recruitment mission in the cut scene as you leave to get him someone fires a missle launcher and it sounds exactly like someone opening a bottle of wine. I'm playing through a heavy surround system too - not sure if that makes it better or worse.

Perhaps I'll just stick with an Assault Rifle: it never hurts to have a few extra bullets...

What is the best class to slap flashbangs on?
Soldier can do it easily enough. Mine just took 10 out of concussion blast and put them into Flashbang.
I'm not sure if I'd want it on any other class. And they are a little clunky to work with. They're awesome in Kasumi's hands though.

my shepard is mostly based on me on how I would do in that life, and Kasumi is an hot looking Asian girl and I
kinda have thing for Asian girls, pluss I love her attitude. so im kinda sad that she isnt a LI, maybe she can become one in ME3??
loved the mission too kinda like a James Bond thing going in that.

Flashbang is probably a little overpowered at least with Vanguard. I wouldn't suggest picking it as a bonus power, but bringing Kasumi along to flashbang every group you run into makes the game much easier. Would probably be a nice bonus power for Engineer if you want to go for pure CC.
I've discovered that pairing Kasumi's Flashbang with Samara's Area Reave and a Vanguard's Area Charge is pure Awesome.

Just for infiltrators. I think it would be understandable why there would be a limitation.

I'm probably going to go Vanguard, Kasumi, and Miranda/Zaeed/Thane, they make an excellent team.Average Gatsby wrote...
I'm also going to ignore Overload. 2 really strong chars already have it, miranda and garrus, and flashbang and shadow strike are so good that I'd rather she use that.
Here's something to consider.
Overload gets a 2x bonus vs shields. So heavy overload can do 400 damage (un upgraded) to shields every 12 seconds.
Rapid Shadow Strike, not even the heavy version, can do 450 damage to Anything every 9 seconds. Shadowstrike > Overload vs shields, so you can just put the points into flashbang.
If you really want a Merc team, like me, grab Zaeed with squad disruptor and go on a killing/grenade spree.
I played on my Soldier for the Loyalty mission, not sure about the locust yet, but if it's better then the tempest I'm gonna crap my pants, and it shouldn't be better then the Tempest, a simple rule of thumb is that DLC or Rare content cannot be more effective then ultimate end game content (unless of course, the content is only available AFTER the end of the game), or else either everyone would complain that they didn't have the rare version and want the weapon, or everyone would be stronger then the best hero at the end of the game from the start, which would be completely dumb.
Generally, I reccomend replacing Flash Grenade with Squad Warp Ammo if you use the Shepard/Kasumi combo, the video showed that two flashes don't stack or refresh the Incapitation effect. (what you call CC, which it is not, CC is making them COMPLETELY USELESS, as in if they aren't dead, they're worth just as much effort to kill as if they were.)
Also, Everyone seems to think that Shadow Strike is a cross between Krogan Charge and Combat Drone, I feel it more closely resembles Biotic Charge to the target, then charge right back somehow.
The bar was a nice touch.... I wonder if it can act as the Normandy's lounge.

How so? In what scenario would it be intrinsically better than Charge? And if Rapid Strike is better, why would a Vanguard be the one who becomes overpowered and not EVERYONE?
It has no shield boost or time dilation and doesn't keep you at the new location (if we're using Kasumi's invisible retreat is part of the power). How would having both Charge and Shadow Strike be more broken than any other combo?

Still, it does give me some crowd control, so I'll see about getting it to work.

So has anyone found out whether the grenade is considered a tech ability?
Are you hoping that all the tech bonuses gives it dmg upgrades? It is used more for its effect than DMG. and at the most basic its overpowered. so you dont really need anymore upgrades for it.

I disagree on your point to not give shepard the grenade.. Double grenade is awesome.
