Samething happening to me too. Have downloaded the content more than 6 times and everytime the same. Don't know what to do either. Tried different browsers and always the same result, no installation possible. All the other downloads worked without a problem, just this one is giving me this problem. Would be nice to get some advice or help from the people at bioware.........

I'm also having the same problem. If it helps, I'm running Windows 7 64-bit.

I was just setting here watching download number x and made an interesting discovery. The download seems to work normal, then all of a sudden it stops, after that it jumps to 30 mb/sec + speed. It seems to me like there is a problem with the download itself. It looks like the file ain't downloaded complete. The file size states that it has the right size but I can't believe that my 32000 cable connection will work with that kind of a speed of 30 megabyte per second. I am also running Windows 7 64 bit.

Ok, the download starts with 1.8 - 1.9 mb/s, then it downloads to about 470 - 475 mb. Then it stops. After that it just skips the rest of the download to the final filesize of 991 mb. I am thinking that for some reason the content from where it stops to the final filesize ain't downloaded. The downloaded file has the right filesize, but I think that the content is missing from where it stopped to the end of the file. So the file is obviously corrupted, even if it seems to be correct in size.

Downloaded it fine and it starts to unzip up to 100%, then it does nothing.
If i have ME2 running it complains but otherwise it just doesnt start the installer.
What the hell is wrong with this thing?

How much free space do you have on your hard drive? My friend has the same issue with the Zaeed DLC and we suspect it's caused by lack of free space.ClaymooreEOC wrote...

For Kasumi, you probably need at least 2-2,5 GB to be able to install.

I have 131Gb free, its a terabyte drive so that is unlikely to be the problem, unfortunately.

It might be that i need the space on my systemdrive, im going to test that now. I dont think it had enough space to unpack and install from C:
Thank you for the suggestion Smore, at least it got me on track

I finally managed to get it to download and install!
But I had to go to my other PC running Vista 32 bit. There the download worked without any problems, no stopping and warping. After the download I copied it over to my game PC via the homenetwork. After that it ran and installed without a problem.
I am starting to wonder if Windows 7 64 bit has a problem with certain download servers, don't have a clue why.

@ClaymooreEOC: glad i was able to set you on the right path
@Bulletdemon360: i'm a W7 64 bit user too, and i had no problem at all, don't think it's OS-related.

I had problems with other downloads on other servers. They where very much like the ones I had with the Mass Effect 2 download. CRC errors and partially downloaded files. I rule out my network hardware, because within the last 3 months I had 3 different routers in operation (DGL-4100, DIR-635 and my current and final router the DIR-855). The only difference to my other computers and consoles on the network is that my game PC has a gigabit connection to the router, the other computer and consoles are connected via 100 mbit connections and wlan, except for my Playstation 3 that also runs with a gigabit connection.

Hi! i've been reading you guys from spain since yesterday, and it's been published on facebook that the DLC is out, BUT i'm unable to find it in my game promotions.
This may be a very stupid question but, where are you downloading it from??

@Elder154:
This is a paid DLC, it's not between the game promotions. You have to buy it from http://social.bioware.com/page/me2-dlc first. The price is 560 Bioware points, which equals to 4.88 Euros.

We are downloading via the official bioware site. The DLC ain't free this time, so you will have to first buy some points for your account. Instructions how to obtain and download the DLC are available on the bioware mass effect 2 site. Hope this info helps.
