There is a mod on fileforums to make fem underwear transparent and to make morrigans clothes a little bit more sexy,but i have no idea how to get this .TPF file to work.

You probably need to google "TexMod", which I believe uses those TPF files to change the textures in-game.

I don't know that much more about it than I believe that it was used in Mass Effect to do armour retextures since there wasn't a toolset for that game. Apparently quite popular with Tomb Raider, too...

I haven't reached that point in the game yet, but I thought it was hilarious that in the sex scene shown in the trailers Morrigan wears a bra with the monstrously thick strap around the back, but if you look at her costuming her back is almost completely bare with only a few very small laces.

Actually it is very easy to get to work, assuming you know where to put the files and what to label the folder.  You don't need texmod either.  The toolset extracts textures just fine.....override is the key

FP uses a Download manager. Thats why it asked you to DL it. I love their DLM.

For the people asking about overrides, I think syklonis01 was just saying that TexMod shouldn't be necessary to *create* these sorts of things in the first place. TPF isn't a Dragon Age resource container as far as I know.

To use *this mod in particular*, the one with the TPF file, I'm pretty sure you'll have to use the TexMod game launcher or figure out a way to extract the DDS files from the the TPF, which may not be easy or possible. (Or maybe use TexMod or whatever and dump the DDS textures back out while in-game, but that goes beyond just wanting to use it).

Anyway, my point is that there's probably nothing anybody using the toolset or having knowledge of how resources are loaded in the game can do to help you use this mod. At least not while it's in TPF form.

TPF files are used with Texmod. They will do nothing for dragon age itself with out the other program.

Texmod edits memory settings telling the game to use the textures in the tpf file if I remember correctly.

Ok... so how do you get the texmod files back out of the package?

Well....I have a folder in the override folder and its plainly called morrigan. Inside are 4 of her edited dds files. Again, use the toolset, extract the dds files what you want to edit. The hard part is knowing what to name the folder placed in override. I got that off google...



Replacing other dds files and correctly naming them, I'd have to look that up further

I think somebody is misunderstanding something. Making female underwear transparent is pointless, as then all you would get is this: http://i86.photobuck.../Adinos/507.jpg



Now, you can of course make the underwear skin-colored, if you like, by editing the texture file, which looks like this: http://i86.photobuck...arm_nuda_0d.jpg



However, just replacing that file is not going to give you a "nude mod", as the model itself would need changing. If you look at the female model, it looks like this http://i86.photobuck...os/untitled.jpg and as you can see, the outlines of the clothing are clearly visible. In other words, it is not just "painted on".



So, I guess you will have to stick with youporn.com (or whatever) if you want to look at naked females on your computer monitor.

lol. The ones that mock those us that want it, are more than likely the ones that have youporn bookmarked and want this mod more than we do.

Also, someone will end up modifying the model at some point to get rid of the silly underwear. I dont mind it so much really, I just think it was dumb of Bioware to put it in the cutscene, on a character that clearly isnt wearing underwear at any other point (or atleast not a bra).
Also I think they went overboard with the bra straps... caving in to the whiners about the nudity is just going to make them bolder. Next they will whine about all the blood and gore and violence.

...and then we will be left with Hello Kitty Adventure Island.

Aislol or whoever has made about 8 threads today begging for a nude mod... just go rub one out and take a nap, dude.
