eMail is a poor choice for the purpose. The chatline is preferred. THIS is a PEER group here. No EA, and almost never any Bioware, exactly as already described here in this thread. We gamers who have been regulars in residence here have no official contact with EA support at all.

I was having the same problem obtaining a key. I emailed EA customer support and within 10 minutes they responded to me with a working CD key. I was pleasantly surprised by the speedy response.

For those stumbling on this thread on a Google search, short version: Contact EA support. 2 hours turnaround for a working CDKey.
On a side note, I really don't understand why EA doesn't fix their own FAQ article and/or automate this process rather than ___ number of PC gamers individually opening support tickets. Oh well.

I'm from Germany, and i called the support, for the key and he say he sent me the key to my e-mail address, the conversation took me about 5 min. very fast!
