What platform are you playing on? Looking at your information, it looks like you're playing on one of the consoles- remember that the consoles are made easier then the PC due to tactical things I'm not sure I totally understand (I believe that Easy for the PC is Normal on the Console).

On the other hand... I mean, my first real character is this archer I'm playing right here. I'm playing on normal. I don't consider myself a genius video game player, but I don't consider myself bad, either... but I went to Orzammar first, and you better believe I full wiped the first time I got a Reaver up. And then the second time. And the third. And while I did kill the one in the Palace, I'll have to go back to one in the Deep Roads now because. And I did need a reload on the Broodmother, too. Heck, I started a dwarf commoner rogue... and I had a few wipes in the origin story. Leske, sadly, did not make a good tank for an archer.backup.

Heck, the first time I loaded up the game, I ran in to trouble in the Wilderness area, where the Emissary is on the bridge and attempts to run back to the archers after a few hits. Alistar and Jory were happy to chase him across, where they both got caught in the leg-traps and stood there while they were happily lightning-ed (...) and pinned shot picked off. After playing through that once and knowing what was going on, it's of no difficulty: but the first time? Owch. I still have trouble beating the ash-liking-demon there without at least one party member going down on hard, though.
