Someone might already have written this but anyway, when Velanna first joined my party she got 100 approval which I found extremly odd at the time and shortly after realised was a bug (or feature or whatever)

Anyway I replayed the part and this time I didn't give her the elven trinket during the dialouge (you can hand it to her as proof that the Darkspawn have been naughty) and everything worked out normal.

I tried this because the first time I had handed her the trinket I still had it in my inventory afterwards and could thus give it two her twice.

BTW I gave her the trinket from the back pack afterwards, she was happy but not 100 psyched,
