Ok, first off, I've spent about 2 or 3 hours researching my problem... and I haven't been able to find a single person with this same problem/hardware, so please no flames, if i was too much of a nub to actaully find anything.

I bought the game off D2Drive (didn't feel like heading to the mall), installed it Friday night, and played probably 2 1/2 hours before i had to go live life. I was excited to start back into it today (sunday), and the game loaded fine, i went ahead and got ready to turn the flowers over to the dog keeper, I clicked on him, and the game crashed out to the desktop. I said, ok, I'll try and talk to someone else, start the game, load, talk to Duncan, crashed right back to the desktop. I was slowly getting the WTF feeling, but wasn't sure if it was the game or not at this point.

I loaded an earlier save, and went to loot the treatise from the Trunk, the godamn game crashed out to the desktop again... wtf?

The real wierd part seems to be, I can talk to the sick dog, no prob, and I can change zones, no prob, but the instant I try to interact w/ NPC's in game, or loot a chest, it crashes.

So, I went ahead and updated the game (also updated the VC distributable, just in case), and updated my Drivers...

Same exact issue... WTF>??>?

I'm running Vista Ultimate, 64 bit, with 3 GHz duo core, 4 G's of RAM, and a 8800gt... The only error being logged in windows Event viewer is Event ID 1000...

If anyone else here had a similar issue and managed to fix it, I would love to hear from you
