I can't seem to get this DLC to work. I've re-downloaded it about 8 times now. Restarted my PC, done everything i could think of. I keep getting this damned NSIS error.  http://cubeupload.co...d000helpme2.jpg

I don't understand why this is happening. All other DLCs have worked perfectly without a single problem. I'm running XP if that somehow makes a difference. I just find it weird that the Icon on the Kasumi file isn't showin the Mass Effect 2 logo like the other files here. Example : http://cubeupload.co...b31000hepme.jpg

I would really appreciate it if anyone could help me out here<3

Sort of a similar problem here!

Just downloaded the Kasumi dlc, wanted to install, then it gives a NSIS error:

'The installer you are trying to use is corrupted or incomplete.

This could be the result of a damaged disk, a download or a virus.

You may want to contact the author of this installer to obtain a new copy.

It may be possible to skip this check by using the /NCRC command line switch (NOT RECOMMENDED).'

All the other dlc installed seamlessly, this is the only error I've had with ME2 so far. Are there more people who had the same problem?

@JasonSovereign, I hope you don't mind me sharing your topic... :)

Are you by any chance using firefox to download? I was getting the error when I was using firefox, so I switched to Internet Explorer and it's working now.

I have a different problem. After installing it (apparently, without problems), I can´t load my games. It says that the firewalker pack is missing. It´s not. But I re-installed it anyway. Still nothing. Can´t load my game. This sucks.

For the NSIS error I would reccomend redownloading the DLC again, if that does not work, as said above try a different browser.

Darth Suetam, when you try to use the load games or resume option, or even when you start up the game, are you able to log onto cerberus or the EA servers? Does it show a "timed out" error message?

Thanks, but no other message, or time out. Just unable to load my games. That is so frustrating...

I was having the same problem (NSIS error) when downloading the installer with Chrome. I just tried it through IE, and was able to install without a problem.

I downloaded it 3 times via Chrome, twice via IE, all gave me that error. Downloaded at a different location/connection via Chrome, copied to this machine via USB drive and it worked.

I downloaded it 5 times with Chrome and 2 times with Firefox and those gave me NSIS error.
4 times with Internet Explorer and If I try to open the file with Internet explorer it says that the file doesn't have a Digital Signature but if I just open the file from where I downloaded it I get NSIS error

I can't download it from another computer and copy it over to my own because my Ext-HD is broken, My older computer only has a CD burner (CD's hold 700mb, Kasumi is 991 mb)

This DLC is a complete disaster, just look at all the people having trouble with the game after installing it.

EDIT: Is this by any chance ANOTHER ****ty Console port?

Tried with Chrome IE Firefox. Nothing is working. I even did a format because i thought something was up with me PC. After the format, i am STILL having this issue. I'm so confused here, did all of us who can't get it to work really pay for nothing?

Just tested download with Opera 10.51. Downloaded and installed correctly on first try.
Try downloading from this EA server: http://static.cdn.ea.../ME2_Kasumi.exe
And no, this is not Bazaar link. ^_^

Interesting. Here's MD5 of my working file: BC8A50BBB047E266289E70ED59F1AB66

Check if your downloaded file has the same checksum. You can use http://www.nirsoft.n...h_my_files.html to calculate MD5 hash.

If it doesn't match, do a virus check and HDD check. Unreliable connection my create problems like this as well.

e4c2011a8d505adca0f8d71e8bc0c63c Is what it says. I just did a format today, so i doubt i have any viruses. How do i do a HDD check? It only happens with this DLC

Also thank you for actually trying to help me <3

Select disk -> Properties -> Tools -> Error Checking
I think it happens only with this DLC cause file is so big. Anyway, checking disk for errors or downloading file using any program that supports resuming interrupted downloads should help. Can't think of anything else. Really odd problem you have here. :pinched:

@JasonSovereign

As already suggested, the error message you're seeing is indicating the file you downloaded has been corrupted somehow.

The file should be 1,039,141,520 bytes in size and, as Sir Shendar indicates, have an MD5 checksum of BC8A50BBB047E266289E70ED59F1AB66.

If your file does not conform to those standards it very likely will not work and you will have to try downloading the file again.

Yes i understand that. My file is exactly 911 MB. I have tried to download it over 20 times ( yes sad, i know ) I even did a format like i said above. Nothing works. I'm gonna try to do a HDD check now like he suggested. I'll write back and to tell if it worked or not.

Hi, Jason

I noticed that you said that your file is 911 MB. The file is 1,039,141,520 bytes in size which works out to about 991 MB. You should double-check your file size.

I do understand how frustrating this must be and I hope we can get this working for you ASAP.

What a time to delurk. I'm having the same problem, getting the NSIS error every single time I download (along with the Mass Effect logo not showing up for the file). I've got the right file size, though, 1,039,141,520 bytes.

Actually, simply rebooting my PC solved the problem.

Oh man. I did the HDD check and downloaded the DLC again. Did not work. A friend of mine has this problem too, he said that he got it to work by downloading it from a warez site ( is it banable to say this? if it is please forgive me ) and that actually worked. He did buy the DLC as well, but only got it to work by downloading it off megaupload :/ Now i won't do that since i like to be able to play a 100% legit game. Is there another download mirror somewhere? Maybe that could be it. I've tried looking on filesmelt etc but i can' seem to find any.

I'm getting BC8A50BBB047E266289E70ED59F1AB66 as the MD5 checksum, but I'm still getting the NSIS error.

Trying to download the DLC via another computer/connection now.
