I can't seem to get this DLC to work. I've re-downloaded it about 8 times now. Restarted my PC, done everything i could think of. I keep getting this damned NSIS error.  http://cubeupload.co...d000helpme2.jpg

I don't understand why this is happening. All other DLCs have worked perfectly without a single problem. I'm running XP if that somehow makes a difference. I just find it weird that the Icon on the Kasumi file isn't showin the Mass Effect 2 logo like the other files here. Example : http://cubeupload.co...b31000hepme.jpg

I would really appreciate it if anyone could help me out here<3

@JasonSovereign

As already suggested, the error message you're seeing is indicating the file you downloaded has been corrupted somehow.

The file should be 1,039,141,520 bytes in size and, as Sir Shendar indicates, have an MD5 checksum of BC8A50BBB047E266289E70ED59F1AB66.

If your file does not conform to those standards it very likely will not work and you will have to try downloading the file again.

Hi, Jason

I noticed that you said that your file is 911 MB. The file is 1,039,141,520 bytes in size which works out to about 991 MB. You should double-check your file size.

I do understand how frustrating this must be and I hope we can get this working for you ASAP.

@ShadelingBelle

What about the MD5 checksum?

@ DKruger - That's great.

@ JasonSovereign - Can you confirm that you have the right file size and MD5 checksum? Your last post suggested that the file you had was about 70 MB too small.

@ ShadelingBelle - Can you confirm that you are getting the same error as Jason (see the image he linked above) or are you getting a different error?

@somejah - Given that the hosted file is correct and that other people are able to download and install it without encountering problems, I'm not sure that rehosting the file will help.

@Jason - Other than the site mentioned earlier in the thread, where are you downloading the file from? Is there any chance you're hitting some kind of download limit from your ISP (I know, it's a long shot)?

@Jason - I was asking which site you were going to to get the file. The one in your reply (which Sir Shandar had posted earlier in the thread) was the one I was referring to as being mentioned earlier.

I just tried downloading the file from that link myself and it worked fine.

At this point, I think you should go with Icinix's suggestion and get a program that will pause / resume downloads and hope that you can get the entire file.

@ShadelingBelle - You're getting the same error even though you've got the entire file and its MD5 checksum is correct? Hmm... Let me look into that a little more.

@Jason - I just google'd "pause resume downloads" and it came up with a list of utilities that will do this.
