Sorry for not getting back to you guys on this, sorry Hamlet, but that's exactly what happened, I started it up, and waited, and waited, got up, ate a couple of Pop-Tarts, and then I noticed the Install Wizard on my screen... I honestly don't know what to tell you... just keep trying I guess... sorry...

First post here and omg. What a sodding waste of time the help files are. I tried to email for customer support and it says it doesnt recognise my login details which is funny because they worked when Im doing anything other than trying to get help! So I thought okay maybe im having a mental breakdown from frustration and have remembered it incorrectly so i requested a reminder. got the standard we have sent you the reminder you asked for.... er no you didnt, tried again nothing and again stilll no email. So i tried again this morning nope not even one email from them so i requested again "we are sorry there have been too many attempts to retive this infomation".
I am currently trying Renoricks method i started the installer programme i saw the veryfying instal message come up now im going to o play on my ps3 for a few hours and see if the install wizard has arrived.

_moesha what the heck, I'll try it but FIRST I will try just accessing the files without touching ME2 at all. I have no idea how it might matter but what the hell.

Holy jeezus on bejeezus I GOT the dirty little ****!
And here's my method:
In another thread I I got this link:
http://static.cdn.ea.../ME2_Kasumi.exe
Direct to the file in question. I had used it before (A failure) but this time I figured, what the hell, and used DownThemAll!
And there we go. It's installed, I don't know if it'll actually function but it is installed. Go team!

I'm having the same issue as above, but with the Zaeed and Hammerhead DLCs. I've bought ME2 from Steam and am running Windows 7 Professional 64bit. It's getting a bit ridiculous at this stage as I've been trying to download and install this on and off since these DLCs released months ago!

first post here on this thread about the same problem, i'm having problems with both kasumi and overlord. downloading kasumi using the link posted above to see if it makes a difference. i joined a live chat with a tech from EA and he was of no help whatsoever, i'm waiting for an email from the "senior" team.
i'm using win 7 premium 64 bit, downloaded with chrome.

arg, same NSIS error as everyone. Getting it on Kasumi and Overlord. Have tried downloading the installers with IE, Chrome, and Firefox and have tried a lot of variations on running the file (such as running as administrator or in compatibility mode) but doesn't seem to make any difference. Any help appreciated.

I am having the same issues trying to install Kasumi and Overlord ... the file size is correct and the MD5 for Kasumi is correct, just does not have the ME2 Icon on the file. When I try to install it verifies the installer ... waits for about 30 seconds ... verifies the installer again and then I can click on install ... I get to around 7.2% to 7.5% install and it stops, waits and then reports installation failed. At this point the only option is to 'finish'
This happens on both Kasumi and Overlord. Both files been downloaded with firefox download manager, then again with Firefox & Downthemall, then again with IE. Same problem all the time.
I have enough space on harddrive and the output folder that the installer is reporting is the correct one where my ME2 is installed.
Please could anyone offer contructive advice/solution?

These problems are verry wierd indeed. I havent finished ME2 yet for the first time and decided I really liked the game and wanted the DLC. EVERYTHING worked fine except for Kasumi and overlord. Tried for almost 2 hours last night trying diffrent things and nothing worked. The ONLY thing I did diffrent today was download them 1 at a time and it seems to of worked (havent started playing yet but they installed). I'm using vista and I. I'm dumbfounded at this though. everyone seems to be having the SAME issues with a wide range of OS and browsers. Hope bioware gets this fixed (I'm convinced its on there end at this point). If ME 1-2 wasnt such good games and I had not had any troubles with any DA or ME DLC's up to this point I would have said screw it.

I have managed to resolve this issue by un-installing the game and re-installing in this order ... ME2, overlord, kasumi, zaeed, normandy, all the other cerberus network content, aegis pack and then finishing with ME2 1.02 patch. I then tweak the coalesced ini to set the mouse sensitivity to 0.3 because the game is just unplayable otherwise.
Just to confirm the files that I installed for Overlord and Kasumi were the same ones that did not have the me2 icon and previously would not install. I did not need to download them again.
Completely weird ... but at least I found a way round it.

Ugh... I'm getting this same issue. I've tried everything mentioned in this thread... None of the other DLCs have given me any issues except this one.

I just tried downloading it again, the file size was correct.
However, I checked the MD5 on it and it reads 1307b12647bfebbae3f41889295ff078. This doesn't look right at all, but I've tried re-downloading this around 10 times now and I'm getting sick of it.

Just to add to the info,
I had the same error. I noticed someone mentioned Kaspersky 10 and someone mentioned attempting to install from the root drive.
I DL'd initially to my RAID Array with Kaspersky 10 on. Tried install from there. No luck. Then re-downloaded it and tried again. No luck.
Then I went searching and found this thread. So I copied the file over to the windows root drive, and attempted install. Still had the error.
I then turned Kaspersky 10 off, and re-downloaded to my root drive. This allowd the install to complete. I did not reboot during any of this.
I am guessing Kaspersky messes the file up during scanning. My 3ware RAID controller is reporting no problems with the drives or the array, so I am certain it is not a drive issue.
So there we go, probably Kaspersky.

man i just got home after 24 hours of flying, ready to play ME2 again with all the DLC and Kasumi is giving me this error. it takes me about 8 hours to d/l the DLC here so just simply 'downloading' it from another source is not an option. well its not a quick option. also, i am very impatient. none of these solutions have worked for me.
anyone got anything else?

I had this problem as well, bump to this forum, and managed to get it worked by change my download manager from Orbit into DAP.
