I always felt like there was something unfinished about the whole Gavorn and the Vorcha business. Like a planned sidequest that got cut or something.

I really hope that comes back. Try to use Charm/Intimidate on one in ME3 and it fails. "WE KNOW SHEPARD'S TRICKS!"

maybe they added a side mission for the Vorcha but you need to get more Paragon or renegade to do it. Try looking online for secret missions.

But you must consider that they have quite impressive regeneration skills that should also affect the nose.
