i thought of a couple of ideas for me3 that might be good and before
you judge and say that i took this from someone else i barely read
other fourms and just like to post. i think that in me3 if you are a
male shepard who ever you did becomes pregnant (yes including tali)
just to make every person who wanted that option happy and for example
ceartain people judging on how you act in me3 will survive and so will
the baby and one of the endings will be them giving birth or something,
but if you make bad decisions you love interest will lose the baby or
even before this happens certain characters may not want to keep it
regardless. or you can have a renegade option to do something that
rymes with smish-smorshin (if you dont get that knocked up joke it
means abortion...and you should see knocked up) so justin putting my
ideas out there. BUT for female shepards i dont know how the garus
thing would work so plz dont complain; ither than that same options and
same decisions=same outcome. and as my closing words dont post that
dextro-dna bull its bioware's game and they can do wat they want not to
mention if you read the codex you'll see that some aliens and ppl mod
there dna so that they can get pregnant with dextros so hey maybe
that'll be a sidequest...so yeah

Have a baby with who!?... *sighs* first off Babies in a space epic about killing giant evil robots is NEVER a good Idea and second of all it is Biologically Impossible for shepard to have a Baby with Tali, thane or Garrus. also having a baby with Samara is Highly improbable considering she can choose to become impregnated. not to mention the countless amount's of Plot issues it would create especially for Femshepard

Maybe for an ending, Shepard settling down with his lover of choice. Personally would go with Tali, hybrid kids if possible would be interesting.

First off, I don't think it would be possible for a human and a quarian to produce a child togheter. Cross-races may work in fantasy, but I doubt it'd work in sci-fi. If you have sex with a pig, it won't give birth to a pig-human.

And in the mass effect universe I think you can avoid getting pregnant quite easily, so if it isn't by choice, they shouldn't get pregnant. And I doubt Jack, Ashley, Miranda or Shepard would be as foolish as to get knocked up before fighting the reapers.

[edit] Well, maybe Jack. She's so screwed up she wouldn't even notice :)

Cheesy drama and soap opera.

The first thing I would do is go get an abortion since I play a femShep. As for maleShep, Miranda, as much as I hate her she knows what comes first and I trust her to do what is right for the sake of everyone else. Jack, I'm not sure about her but this might affect her worst than Miranda. And Tali? Let's be serious, this isn't fantasyland where you can have half demons, dragons, imps, dogs, rabbits, hamsters etc...

I don't see any of the Shepards as the type of person to settle down permanently and start a family for the sake of a happy ending. That's what Snow White and Sleeping Beauty are for. Read them for a happy ending.

Try and be a little more realistic. The people you romanced aren't so dumb as to remain pregnant when the galaxy is about to be doomed.

You're not exactly making it easy on us you know. If you want people to actually read your posts you should atleast put enough effort in to make it readable.

I can't speak for all female gamers - but the last thing I want to do in game is to fantasize about getting pregnant and settling down with my alien romance, I have real life for that (thats the pregnant bit not the alien romance thing ha!). I want to shoot bad guys and just generally save the universe from evil, the romance is a nice diversion but not the sole reason why I play.

About advanced romance ideas, I wouldn't mind them as they would add a bit of extra content to the ending of the game when everything has been dealt with. I'm mostly referring to the romance endings of Baldur's Gate 2: Throne of Bhaal. One of the male romances ended with the Bhaalspawn settling down with his spouse, another would result in a LAT relationship and the last would turn out badly. The succes of the relationship greatly depended on the personality of your girlfriend, which I thought was awesome. Relationships don't have to work out just because you want them to.

I would definitely NOT like having pregnant squadmembers running about during ME3. If you like that, you'd probably have to look for games like Sims and other life-simulations. It just wouldn't fit ME3 at all. Shepard & his/her crew's responsibility is way too big to start thinking about kids when there is still work to be done, same goes for real life you know.

I hope everybody gets their goddam genitals removed at the beginning of the goddam game so I don't have to listen to the goddam whining about goddam "love interests" on this goddam forum anymore.

Thing is, from video games to fanfiction, ect, a baby usually just adds some annoying factors to the game.

I'll be god damned if I have to stop gunning down people to go and change a diaper. Feeding fish is already a hassle, still haven't figured out how to get Kelly to do it for me, so they die in droves.

Last thing anyone needs is "Commander Shepard; Savior of the Galaxy, negligent care taker responsible for 3865 fish and 1 baby death, is to be interview by Emily Wong...

^ This.

I'm already a wife.  I don't need a sim for that in the game.  As for kids, my femsheps and malesheps are both smart enough to use protection.   They would feel it was irresponsible to do otherwise.

Actually, I play my Shepards as characters who have relationships here and there but are mainly committed to their jobs.  Even my Ruthless Shepard isn't so much ruthless as in deliberately cruel, but ruthless as in focused on getting the job done no matter the cost.  I don't see them settling down even at the end.

That doesn't mean I don't wish for a good ending in which Shepard lives happily ever after with his/her LI.  I know a lot of people would love that ending and that would be great.  It's just that if there is a choice in the end between Shepard settling down and Shepard continuing his/her life serving the galaxy (or even sacrificing his/her life for the galaxy) I would choose the latter as it fits my character.

I have a great idea. I'm most certain there are already skins for The Sims 2. Why not use them?

You get to build a house, own a dog and have as many babies as you wish.

I agree I'd like some closure if this is the last episode. (The series is a trilogy, right?)
Not just fade to black and then credits-Game over like in the first game.

I don't care one way or the other about LI's in ME3. It's just a side diversion for me, not the reason why I play BioWare games. :) YMMV
