Are we reading a little too much into this maybe? I assume they have had all of the audio for Kasumi for quite a while, perhaps as long as the other squadmates audio.
What does Kasumi say about all the love interests?

Well they probably did all of her audio whenever they did everybody else. The game has only been out for 3mo or so? People are talking about it as if it means they won't have their LI in ME3 like it's a coded message from the devs or something.Collider wrote...

Why are they doing this to us??? *weeps*
Its obvious, Bioware wants you to go surfing on Jacob's rocking abs and engine room funtime with Miranda

So what does that mean? The ME2 LI's don't matter? Sounds more like a snafu to me.Collider wrote...
I think it has may have something to do with the fact that you can't really break up with your ME1 LI and at least in the case of Kaidan/Ashley, you can't really say that you want to stay together.

It could be we may be looking for something where there is nothing, but I could be wrong. Nothing is concrete anyway in ME3 in reality. If it is intentional, then they could have done it for a few reasons I suppose.Collider wrote...
No, it means the status of your relationship is not concrete. In that light, the writers may not want to make Shepard sound like he/she is still in the relationship with the ME1 LI. I'm not justifying Bioware for doing as they did, just trying to see their reasoning or maybe lack thereof.

Also, am I only one who thinks that Kasumi's attraction towards Jacob is a Bioware reference to his unpopularity with most fans? Or am I just imagining things?
I think they may be trying to make him more "likeable". He will most likely go through a 'Raidenification' process
I can already see it. In ME3 Jacob will have a cool eyepatch, a scruffy beard, cybernetic implants and will use a laser katana.
Or a wizard may just remove him

I didn't know you could break up with Jack "well." Seeing as how she tells you to **** off no matter how you break up with her.

You can be physically attracted to someone without feeling deep love. Kasumi wants to tap DEM ABS, but would still choose Keiji every time.scmadsen wrote...
They are trying too hard, it's out of character for Kasumi to talk about him like that, when she is still getting over someone she loved deeply. Total fail to make us think about Jacob, thanks...but no.
But I do agree that it smacks of desperation. Man, they are trying to sell him hard...I wonder if all her lines got recorded at the same time as everyone else's? Probably, Jacob gets the only post-game romance line out of the female romances, and he's the only one to talk about Shep's feelings. And even with the deck stacked in his favor like that...must be kind of awkward for the writers to go on the forums and see the general opinion...

Perhaps Kasumi doesn't comment on your precious Ash/Kaidan relationship because they can die in ME1. Liara is only non-killable LI from ME1 so there is no problem in including her. Sure it wouldn't be that hard to record and place to lines of dialogue, but they didn't.
If you need a "in-game" solution. Perhaps Kasumi doesn't comment on it because the reunion on Horizon was pretty brutal with Ash/Kaidan more or less breaking up with you, and she didn't want to rub salt in your freshly broken heart? How very thoughtful of her.

BioWare's probably mad that no one liked Jacob, b/c they probably spent a lot of time detailing those abs.
Perhaps they should have spent more time detailing his personality instead.<_<
By the way, the Kaiden/Ash romance gets the talk on Horizon, a talk with Kelly, a talk with Joker and an e-mail. They probably let Kasumi talk about Liara to apease her fans since all they got was a rejection kiss and no relationship meantion whatsoever. Kaiden/Ash romancers got WAY more than Liara romancers. It evens things out a bit.

There's two of them, one line each...two lines total. Not alot! Not hard!
Jacob has like 5 lines of Kasumi drooling over him.

Wah, wah, wah! There's no dialogue about my Ash/Kaidan romance from ME1! Wah, wah, wah! What a travesty! How dare BioWare screw us poor fans over by not including a line of dialogue in the game to sate our need to be handed every single thing we think we deserve on a silver platter!

Wah wah wah! I'm a Tali fan that got everthing I could possibly want on a silver platter and can't possibly put myself in the place of how the Virmire survivor fans feel. Instead, I'm going to act like they feel like they're entitled when they're really just looking for any scraps the devs want to throw their way because they got shafted in ME2.
Seriously, one of them is guaranteed to be alive. We're shocked and a bit upset because every fanbase was given a shoutout to except ours. But, it's very thoughtful of you to remind us how there's absolutely no reason for us to be upset whatsoever with this.

Uh, Knot, that was unnecessary.
No, it was necessary because people are ignoring the obvious in complaining about 2 potential lines of in-game dialogue. It's irratating that this thread got temporarily hijacked by a group of people that think BioWare owes them something in DLC for the way the devs decided to handle certain characters in the game.

You don't understand! This would take like 5 minutes of rehearsing and another 2-6 minutes of recording!!!!!!!!
Yeah thats lame, granted she has a lot of dialogue and they took into account a ton of options, wonder why they don't have it inthere...
