Yeah thats lame, granted she has a lot of dialogue and they took into account a ton of options, wonder why they don't have it inthere...
What does Kasumi say about all the love interests?

No, it was necessary because people are ignoring the obvious in complaining about 2 potential lines of in-game dialogue.
There's a lot more to complain about than these two lines....the exclusion of them is like just the final insult to Ash/Kaidan fans....the proverbial 'salt in wound'.

Wah, wah, wah! There's no dialogue about my Ash/Kaidan romance from ME1! Wah, wah, wah! What a travesty! How dare BioWare screw us poor fans over by not including a line of dialogue in the game to sate our need to be handed every single thing we think we deserve on a silver platter!
Perhaps Kasumi doesn't comment on your precious Ash/Kaidan relationship because they can die in ME1. Liara is only non-killable LI from ME1 so there is no problem in including her. Sure it wouldn't be that hard to record and place to lines of dialogue, but they didn't.
If you need a "in-game" solution. Perhaps Kasumi doesn't comment on it because the reunion on Horizon was pretty brutal with Ash/Kaidan more or less breaking up with you, and she didn't want to rub salt in your freshly broken heart? How very thoughtful of her.
Wah wah wah! I'm a Tali fan that got everthing I could possibly want on a silver platter and can't possibly put myself in the place of how the Virmire survivor fans feel. Instead, I'm going to act like they feel like they're entitled when they're really just looking for any scraps the devs want to throw their way because they got shafted in ME2.
Seriously, one of them is guaranteed to be alive. We're shocked and a bit upset because every fanbase was given a shoutout to except ours. But, it's very thoughtful of you to remind us how there's absolutely no reason for us to be upset whatsoever with this.
Seeing as how I romanced Ashley in almost all of my play throughs for ME1 I actually do know how you feel. Ash/Kaidan romancers got shafted, no question, and I admit to being slightly tweaked about it on my first couple of play throughs. But, the doesn't mean I hold a grudge against the devs or get mad when they don't throw me a bone with DLC. You're whining of spilt milk.

Then again, you can talk to her with three comments at a time, when Zaeed will only tell you two story's before letting you go, so it certainly makes it feel like less.

It's irratating that this thread got temporarily hijacked by a group of people that think BioWare owes them something in DLC for the way the devs decided to handle certain characters in the game.

Yeah everyone who got everything they wanted with their romances and whoever they chose and all that? Great! Good for you! That's awesome. But don't tell me Ash and Kaidan didn't get shafted. And this last thing just kind of feels like Bioware twisting the knife to be honest.

It's rubbing salt in the wound.
Honestly, I got the dlc with low expectations and I'm very pleased with how it went. I liked it a lot; even though Kasumi doesn't have a dialogue wheel, she's in my top tier of favorite squadmates.
But honestly, how hard could it have been for them to do two lines? One for "hey about your friend" or "hey I hope things work out with them". She comments about Liara even.
We already don't feel special because of a cameo, shared dialogue lines, and not being able to reply to the email. We're feeling even less special because our group was conspicuously absent in an extremely detailed and observant set of dialogue. Like I said, it's salt in the wound.

I can see some justification from a writing standpoint, in that Bioware wants you to feel as cut off from the Alliance as possible. As it is though, it seems more like they're just trying to force the ME2 romance options(the priiiize), which really doesn't bode well for Ash/Kaiden in ME3.Badpie wrote...
I'm starting to wonder if Ashley and Kaidan teamed up and like keyed all the writers' cars or something. Because it's starting to feel like they hate them for some reason.

I can see that sure. But I don't feel like that's what they're doing. I've always been positive and supportive and tried to look on the bright side of how Ash and Kaidan were handled in ME2, but I just can't pretend anymore. This sucks.

All this moaning and groaning about 2 lines of dialogue is ridiculous, especially considering that most people are in agreement that the DLC was surprisingly well done given BioWare's history with DLC. It's a simple writing decision made by the developers, that's all. This is the direction BioWare took the characters in, and you can't change it. It might not seem "fair" to you, but it was the decision that was made.

That's very pessimistic. There is no consequence if the romance does not continue either way. I hope you're joking. ME3 is the last game in the trilogy, things will be wrapped up and Bioware has expressed intent to do this. On the bright side, the pessimism of many posters will be likely elevate their spirits more so than if they were optimistic, when ME3 rolls around.Daralii wrote...

The bright side is that when ME3 rolls around, every romance interest will have equal content to their romance.
Really? I'm not so sure. It's this kind of stuff that worries me when it comes to ME3. Who's to say that after all our hoping for something great, they don't just go ahead and scrap characters anyway, or completely ruin them, or write the romances terribly or just flat out pretend they don't exist? I know what they've said and I'm choosing to remain optimistic about Ash and Kaidan in ME3, but I guess we'll see.
I guess everyone could have the same concerns but it's a lot harder to have those concerns when your Shepard is spooning on a bed with the person you chose while my Shepard gets yelled at (with the same exact lines for Ash and Kaidan) and gets to stare at a picture.

Since you're a Kaidan fan, put this into perspective. Kaidan or Ashley has to survive since they are going to have a big role in ME3. Not only do you get your Kaidan romance, but you will also have the story focus more on Kaidan than any other character aside from possibly Liara that we know about.fortunesque wrote...
They will all continue, but some will probably be more fleshed out than others, and some will have less content. There's 9 of them, and only 2 (one interchangeable) are 100% guaranteed to be in everyone's games.

Video game fans get more fan-service than any other group of fans out there (movies, music, television, etc.) and everyone seems ignore this fact. People whined for Garrus/Tali romances, they got it. They whined about the Mako, its gone. They whined that combat is boring, it got completely revamped. The list goes on and on, but still it's never enough. This isn't "salt in the wound" its a decision made by the development team. Do you guys really think that BioWare is intentionally making you suffer? Like secretly they hate everyone that romanced Ash/Kaidan and want them to be pissed off and miserable? Come on, man.

The mako, people didnt like it but its better than the abominaton that is the hammerhead.
So yeah its ok to say stop complaining when you have what you want.
