Ok, I've seen the Attack of the Clones review now. Hilarious. His breakdown of Anakin and Padme's romance nd the excessive lightsabering was almost painful to watch. It's so true. Then the video game breakdown of the final fight with that old shooter music. lol... awful.

Palpatine: "Welcome back Lord Tyrannus."
Dooku: "Thank you, my master. But what happened back there, well, I'm really not sure."
Palpatine: "What do you mean, you're not sure?"
Dooku: "Well Yoda showed up with the clones and they fought the robots. And I'm not sure who won."
Palpatine: "Excellent. I must now change my pantaloons. It appears I have shat myself."

I laughed so hard on that one.

One of the things I like about this review is that it doesn't come off as some guy ranting about something with nerd rage.

Agreed. What made this interesting other than the humor was how thorough his critique was. I enjoyed all the parts from start to finish. I wish all reviews were that entertaining. Also, this best sums up the message I took away from both of them...

George Lucas - "Special effects are just a tool. A means of telling a story. People have a tendency to confuse them as an end to themselves. A special effect without a story is a pretty boring thing."

Plinkett - "You said it, brother. Wait? YOU said that?!"

Made me laugh quite a bit when I first saw it... and it is also oh so true...

Funny what 20+ years and billions of dollars can do to the mind.

I have to agree with both of you. I mean, right from the very start of the Attack of the Clones Review, we hear Plinkett say "Star Wars: Attack of the Clones is the worst thing made by a human...'cept for the bagpipes". Like I said, this doesn't sound like some guy on nerd rage ranting about random sh@t. This guy does the thing Robot Chicken did to Star Wars: he made light of it.

It was good stuff and helped me pass the time during the auctions.

I was particularly pleased at the depth he went into the critiques. I've read many positive and negative reviews of Phantom Menace (and the other prequels) but none that ever hit all the points I had about why the film(s) were bad and with the detail I'd use in describing it to any poor soul who chose unwisely to listen to me rant.

In fact, the reviewer went into more detail than I did on many parts-and that was refreshing, too.

This guy is pretty smart. You should see some of his other reviews, mainly the Star Trek ones. I actually can't wait till the Revenge of the Sith Review. Should be quite entertaining.

I think I've seen all of his reviews now. I had a lot of time to kill this week. :)

"Star Trek: 'His erection...'" wow, Pickard...

"What's RIGHT with your face?"

"The best part of waking up... is acid your cup!"

"...the kind of lips you could put duck tape over- I mean... kiss!"

Some of my favorite quotes. This man is a genius! I really look forward to any future vids he's got. XD

I started watching his Avatar review.

I can't believe people became suicidal after watching that movie...

Again, it's like poetry, in that they rhyme....
