Ok, opening myself up on this one but.... And, if this has been hit on another thread, I've haven't seen it yet, so here goes.
Granted, compared to 6-wheeling around a planet's surface inthe Mako in #1, the "planet humping" mining routine in ME2 isn't exactly the most exciting of activities.
Necessary, but kinda dull.
I have one playthrough I'm keeping active. All missions done just hitting whatever DLC's come up with this character now. Ran into fact that, while I'm literally swimming in resources...got curious to see just how much you could mine...credits are kinda low. This particular playthrough, there are a few mods and upgrades I didn't get. May have missed one or two during play but mostly run into not having enough creds to buy the others and still have money to keep the Normandy fueled.
That got me thinking. What about being able to sell surplus resources for credits? Maybe as a part of a DLC on, say Illium, since you do walk through their Exchange area? Maybe have one of the kiosk that are so much stage dressing actually be usable for that?
To paraphrase Joker..."just my opinion, throwing it out there."
Over to y'all....
Planet Scanning, possible good point.
