After you create a charater from choosing "new game" you go into a movie which i cannot even see. It then ends with what i assume is a choice for me to make however i cant see it so i cant play the game.
The first intro movie does not show up either.
PC - No ingame movies and cant start game...

Go here.
Use the drop down boxes to select GeForce 8 Series and follow that with the operating system you're using.
Click Search.
When the relevant page is displayed, download the latest drivers by clicking the download button.
Run the file to install and upgrade your Nvidia drivers.
See if that helps resolve your issue.
I had a similar issue with the cutscenes with a 9800 GT Nvidia card. By upgrading to the most recent driver version, I have fixed the problem. Hopefully, this will fix it for you as well.

While the X1300 Pro is well below the game's minimum, it should at least provide a slide show, since is has all of the required functions. Just do as everyone else here in the thread had to do: get the newest drivers from ATI (not from Microsoft). After you do see how slowly the game runs with such a relatively old business graphics card (which was later shown to be better than average for that class, and probably more suited to an "X1500" performance numbered name), you'll want to upgrade:
