I actually thought the owner was Mark Meer doing a background voice but I might be thinking of a different shop owner. I'll have to go back to that section of the game and replay/listen to it.

Cool. Makes more sense (he does half the other backround characters. lol)

I can never get a handle on Meer. His bakcround voices are cool, but I find Shepard so... meh.

Thankee (and to the poster above you)

No kidding. Meer has more roles than any other voice actor in the two games.

I think Meer voiced all of these characters in ME2/ME:
-Niftu Cal
-Captain Kar’Danna vas Rayya
-Shelum
-Urdnot Darg
-Prazza
-Turian Shopkeep (on the Citadel)
-Turian Customer (on the Citadel - near Rodam Expeditions)
-Volus Contact (on the Citadel - Garrus loyality quest)
-Volus Customer (on Illium)
-Eclipse Trooper (on Illium)
-Shisk
-Several Vorcha
-Quarian Marine
-Several N7 mission signals
-Blue Suns Merc (Zaeed DLC)
-Hock Partygoer (Kasumi DLC)
-Hock Security Guard (Kasumi DLC)
-Blasto
-Opold
-Delan
-Preaching Hanar
-Med Clinic Thug
-Port Hanshan Businessman
-Virmire Salarian Soldier
-Guard Captain Vidinos (Pinnacle Station DLC)
-Khel Burrum (Pinnacle Station DLC)

I probably missed a few.  IIRC He also voiced a few characters in ME: Galaxy.

Hm, I think there are a few errors listed on IMDb.

I'm pretty sure Townsend Coleman did the News Broadcasts in ME.  Not really sure about this, but I think Jeff Haslam might've voiced the ExoGeni VI.  And I'm guessing 'Sebastian Van Heerden', 'Jared Salenta' and 'Dana' (maybe a typo.. Bogart meant Officer Dara?) were cut from the final games since there doesn't seem to be characters with those names in ME/ME2.

Haha, I'm totally obsessed with the VAs in BioWare games.

(Also, thanks for mentioning me in the first post. Appreciate it.)

There are a few I question too.  That however finalized the list of listed VAs between IMDB and various other sites I've located so far.    Now its down to the brass tacks  of actually digging through various material.  I also have the rest of the cast list between ME/ME2  that I havent located info on, or only their Dragon Age credits. Again though those might be subject to error with IMDB and other sites too.

Jocelyn Ahlf - Dragon Age : Mithra

Ashley Jill Barlow –

Wes Borg

Lora Brovold

Jon Curry –Dragon Age: Zevran Arainai/Ser Landry

Collin Doyle

Jeannie Elias – Dragon Age: Nadezda/Kalah/Desire Demon/Lady Vasila

Keith Ferguson

Peter Giles

Jesse Gervais

Zach Hanks – Dragon Age: Prince Trian Aeducan

Stefan Marks – Dragon Age: Nelaros/Deygan/Kinnon/Eadric

Naomi Mercer

Francesco Quinn

Cindy Robinson

John Rubinow – Dragon Age: Soris

William Salyers

Mick Wingert

Stephanie Wulfe

H. Richard Green – Dragon Age: Steward Bandelor/Garin/Ahren

Fredrick Zbryski

Leigh Allyn Baker

Jeff Haslam – Dragon Age: Cammen

Kim McCaw

Kath Soucie

Stephen Stanton

John Kirkpatrick

Is it me, or does Jennifer Hale sound more restrained as FemShep in ME1 vs. 2?

Don't get me wrong, I love her (except the Felicia voice on Spider-Man, ugh did not like that) in everything, but she sounded more over-the-top to me in ME2 vs. 1. Why?

I think everything else listed on IMDb is accurate other than the five I mentioned above.

The Dragon Age credits listed on IMDb should be accurate. I submitted most of them. I got the info from the Dragon Age toolset (the complete VO casting notes are listed in the DA:O toolset).

Well most the characters I havent posted yet I have either questioned or havent had time to verify. Hence why they arent listed. Of course alot of the people unlisted I'm not familiar with(atleast by name) on much of anything so I dont have much or know what to compare with.

*Actually… let me take that back, I just noticed a few more errors on IMDb.

Four of the voice actors aren't listed on their ME2 page for some reason.
Brian Bloom
Casey DeFranco
Stelio Savante
John Ullyatt

I'm pretty curious about who he voiced.  I tried to ID him during my last playthrough, but no luck.
He was Rhah in Platoon and Syed Ali on 24 (and is the son of Anthony Quinn).

Yeah Savante really surprises me since he's listed with Army of Two. Mass Effect is a far better game to be throwing around for VO chops than something like Army of Two.  Bloom I havent tried to pick up yet for a voice over in ME2 so I cant comment on really.   John isnt probably well known enough sadly to really maintain his page with IMDB. As for Casey I'm not really familiar with her at all, other than finding out shes the ex-wife of Robin Sachs (Zaeed) Perhaps that has something to do with it???

Now who Jon Curry voiced in ME2 is bugging me crazy.

That's not really surprising.  A lot of actors don’t maintain their IMDb pages.  Most of the credits on IMDb come from user submissions.   Uh... speaking of which... I’ll send in a credit update to IMDb tonight to try to get those four added to the ME2 page.

Anyway… my opinions on who Bloom, Curry, DeFranco and Ullyatt voiced in ME2.

Brian Bloom … Keiji Okuda / Ratch / Charr / M44 Hammerhead Computer
Jon Curry … Wounded Korlus Merc / Citadel Chef / Illium Bachelor Party Human
Casey DeFranco … Illium News Broadcasts / Illium Advertisements
John Ullyatt … Veetor’Nara / Kenneth Donnelly* / Grizz / Crewman Hadley

*(only one that's been confirmed)

I'm glad it's not just me cause I thought the same thing.  I use to think I was pretty good at distinguishing voices until this game came along.  I've been wrong a couple of times with this game.

Bad wording on my part. Didnt mean to imply that John himself was that one that maintained his page personally. Still stands though that he's not as well known, hence the lack of user support on maintaining current information.

I really need Dusty to come in this thread more often and post.  I feel bad PMing him with page long texts of nothing but questions on VAs.

I give praises to Michael Dorn.

And Lance (Admiral Hackett needs not to have anyone's face but his)

And last Simon Templemen, who despite sounding alike in almost every game, rocks. Kin/Loghain/Quarian Admiral.

Maybe we need to ask BioWare to pay Seth Green more for his voice acting in ME3. Robot Chicken doesnt seem to be working out as well as one might have thought. ;)

This thread so needs to be sticked, especially when Mass Effect series prides itself on dialogue and voice acting.

I'd love to have it stickied.  Especially when I actually get it finished and 100% accurate. Dont know who I need to harass or have other people harass though.  I know several mods, including Dusty are aware of the thread, though I dont know what warrants a sticky to them compared to any of the other threads, like say the character sig one.

Has anyone figured out who voices the Asari on the Citadel gift shop and, if I remember right, the Asari in the vehicle area of Illum where she's talking about giving someone a refund? They sound the same.

I did not read the whole thread, so please pardon me if mentioned, but she also voices the human at the Consort's offices in ME1 who says "You're an astronaut?" and then tells you about her brother or something.

Thank you. I thought I recognized some of them. I watched the credits but kept waiting and waiting for the voice actors, and my ADD got the better of me.
