David Fennoy! Warlord Okeer's voice was so cool I was very disappointed he didn't become a squadmate! Ronald Taylor is also an epic voice, much better than his 'son'.

I hear ya man, I think the guy who played the male Shepard probably gives the worst performance in the game. Ugh. And you know he'll be back for ME3.

I could only name Joker, Miranda Lawson (Yvonne Strahovski FTW!) and of course TIM. There may be others that look remotely like their voice actors, but these three are supposed to. The default male Shep is actually modelled on a Dutch model. Modelled on a model. Lol.<_<

Best voice acting trio I have heard since...pretty much forever.
Mark Meer improved allot since ME1.He is as good as Jennifer Hale now.Still he needs to work abit on Paragon lines... The Renegade ones were mostly perfect tho. "How about goodbye?" "Hurt me? I hardly felt a thing" sounded just great
Martin Sheen did great. Illusive man is scary


Hell... Pretty much everyone did great job.

Nearly all of them were well suited to the role they played. I didn't like Thane too much, but the rest were pretty good.

Carolyn Seymour (Dr. Chakwas) IMO deserves a special mention.

Anyone try to say following, especially like her in character and keep straight face:

"They were... processed -- rendered down into some kind of raw genetic paste and pumped through these tubes."

She has done amazing voice work in both games.

in my opinion maleShep is made to be played as renegade; since i only played it once as maleShep paragon and i didn't like the paragon lines at all and then i tried to play a femShep on renegade and she is no near as tough as maleShep on renegade lines...i never tried to play femShep on paragon ( i don't like paragon playthrough - only a renegade Shepard could do the things he does in ME univers)...

people need to give mark meer a LOT more credit

some of his secondary voice acting is flawless and all in all as Maleshepard he is a lot more tolerable than the constant "grrrrr" performance given by femshepard. Also a lot of his lines fall "flatter" because differently from the femshepard voiceactress he does not want to put emphasis on parts of the conversation the player might not even want to consider

personally i really like mark meer as shepard. he's very consistent and believable line to line. while hale seems to have some sort of multiple personality issue going on going from super angry to super monotone in one line of dialogue or super emotional to super calm. REALLY jarring to me, snaps immersion in half. meer however has more subtle emotional tones that sell it but still allows the conversation to flow at a believable range.

i really dont understand why people give mark meer such a hard time. i think he's the much better actor because he's actually believable int he role.

i don't understand it either but i think that ...the ppl in minority (in any aspect of life) are allways more vocal so what looks like "ppl give mark meer a hard time" it's just because  majority of players ( maleShepard players) don't come to the forums

I think that lately, a lot more people have actually grasped the fact that Mark Meer is a fantastic voice actor; they simply don't agree with the direction he was given when it came to voicing Commander Shepard.

You know who else I like that doesn't seem to get much recognition? Jeff Page as Conrad Verner, April Bannigan as the reporter, and Dwight Schultz as Dr. Cohen. Also, whoever voiced the Biotic God volus from ME2.

Loved a lot of these voice actors, but the chick doing Miranda Lawson annoys the hell out of me with here autralian accent. She seems to mask it most of the time, but when she talks about there father and his doughter it's really annoying.
One thing I noticed however, the bigger the name of the actor (well more know not from games) the smaller his part seems to be (Michael Dorn, Bailey (the guy from BG, etc))

Apart from the usual suspects I really like Claudia Black (Admiral Daro'Xen vas Moreh). I hope we hear some more of her in ME3.

They're all great, and they should do a credits for the VA and their main characters with a split screen of the VA and character. Maybe bloopers, too.

Probably. Most animated movies do the same thing.  Dreamworks/Pixar.
It always struck me odd as to how unlike Ash her VA looks.

that's hardly her best performance on ME2. People recognize that only because she is doing it in her "Morrigan" voice

she also deos Matriarc Aethyta....way better to me
