Black? As in Claudia? Really? Was a fan of Farscape and SG1, but in VO, I can't listen to her. Especially not next to Jenniffer Hale. I always find the 'celebrity' voices fall down in comparison to the professional VAs.

I take it you are aware that Claudia Black since Farscape has pretty much done equally as much VA work as she has actual on-screen acting, right?

I've also heard she voices a character Suu, in another Clone War episode but strangely "The Deserter" Part 3 seems to be missing from YouTube and I cant find it anywhere else short looking for a torrent. If anyone has seen the episode and can comment I'd appericate the help, or if they have a good link to the episode in question.

The VA is Cara Pifko, a Canadian actress. Shes attached as "Additional Voices" with Mass Effect 2 and I think she kinda looks like Kelly too from this picture, which wouldnt be surprising since alot of the characters have some modeling based off the VAs behind them.

Yes (well, 'just as much' might be inaccurate. I am aware that she has done a lot. She does seem to be in everything sometimes. lol). I just can't really get into it. God of War, DA:O, Uncharted 2, Wargames... she grates on me. I do think she is a fine actress, but I prefer her bodily work to her VO work. I think that she's better at it. Just a personal preference.

Awesome find!!   I think Cara is a pretty safe guess now with the various audio / live action scenes / and now with the shot of the signature there.  I actually just contacted a Dev. about getting some more detailed assistace for confirming her and various other VA in the game.

The weird thing about that is Keith's IMDB page lists two characters he has voiced over. Why on earth would he not have Harbinger listed compared to a minor character like Elias Kelham???

It's possible that he was one of the many awesome backround NPCs you can hear throughout the game (possibly more than one). The backround cast for this game was amazing: Dwight Schultz, Bill Ratner, Jim Cummings... (he did Urdnot Wreav, but also did a ton of random Volus and other backround characters, and when I hear his voice I get super excited. lol. How sad am I?)

I think the Elias Kelham and Delan credits on Szarabajka’s IMDb page are just user submissions (as opposed to the info being added by Szarabajka himself / his agent / a BioWare dev).  So it’s possible his ME2 listing is incomplete.

I have no idea who voiced Gabby. I'm guessing Donnelly is voiced by John Ullyatt based on some of the accents Ullyatt did in Dragon Age.  And... I think Phil LaMarr did one of the fish-seeking krogan (Rukar) on the Citadel.

Good call with the Krogan in the Citadel.  I hope he did more than jus that though. Hes not a A List actor but has done enough work that I'd think he'd atleast have voiced a named character with a bigger role as well.   I'll have to look into Ullyatt a bit and see what I can come up with there.

Great VAs are one of the most important things to me when playing games, to the extent where I would rather play a game with bad graphics but great voice acting over one with great graphics and bad voice acting. It is fundamental for imersion especially in RPGs yet so many games are still getting it wrong. Lucky for us Bioware are always brilliant!

I couldn't agree with you more, and that's where Mass Effect 2 really stands out for me. A big thumbs up to the voice actors and to all of you for compiling the voice actors' profiles - t'is really interesting to put faces to voices.

Also, thanks to TheMufflon for putting a face to David Warner's voice, something I should have done myself a long time ago. Irenicus is one of the most brilliantly voiced characters I've encountered in a game, and I had no idea he was from Manchester!

Yeah, it seems like such a waste to have a prolific actor like LaMarr doing only background and ambient characters.  He probably also did a more important character in ME2, we just haven't figured out who it is yet.

A few people in this thread were speculating that LaMarr possibly also did Mouse from Thane's loyalty quest.

Hmm… I can't really find any samples of Ullyatt's work that sound like Donnelly.  I'm still guessing it's him, but I can't come up with any convincing audio comparisons. Ugh, The Scottish accent Donnelly’s VA puts on makes it difficult to figure out who it actually is.  Same thing with Gabby's accent.

There is a bit of that goin on here, though. Jim Cummings is the definition of a VO veteren! Probalbly the most prolific in the cast, and aside from Urdnot Wreav, he's loads of backround noise.

I think the quality of the bit-players is a good thing, but at the same time it does make me slightly sad that so many awesome people have such a small part to play...(comparitivly, that is...)
