If you are using v1.02a then you will likely need the beta update to the "Updater/package installer software" which one of the devs has posted a fairly long time ago now. I Couldn't manually install the blood dragon armor (error with manifest.xml) until I installed the beta update.

I may be kinda late, but anyway ... Im having the same problem as Ace-of-Spades except with a European account. I want my DLC. I paid for this and i will not accept having to pay for it again or them ignoring the problem just because the 30th is close.

They better fix this as fast as possible, but by the looks i wouldnt put too much hope in it. This game has been out since November after all.

Just bought a PS3 & DAO. Tried EVERYTHING; still no shale or armor yet, i went to play ME2 on the 360 & now sheperd has blood dragon armor.  How does that s*** work? problem has to be with sony.

The armor works in a whole other game? That is the weirdest glitch I've heard yet. Unless it is an easter egg?

The Blood Dragon armor is usable in Dragon Age AND in Mass Effect 2. Entering the code gives you the armor for both. It's nice that you have Mass Effect 2 for X-Box 360 Strontium, this definitely proves that it is an isolated problem on the PS3. Whether it is EA, or Sony/Playstation Network.

I bought Dragon Age: Origins for my PS3 brand new from the store 5 days ago. I am in North America (US), so I assume that it should be a North American copy and so is my PSN account. I have my PSN account tied to the game and have a Bioware account here, which displays my PSN account name, so I am assuming they are linked correctly. I have entered my Promo codes for the Blood Dragon Armor and the Stone Prisoner, and I believe they are showing up on my list of DLC under my profile on this website.

However, like many other people, they are not appearing in game. Prior to inputting the codes, The Stone Prisoner was in the DLC list but not the Dragon Blood Armor. After entering the codes, the Stone Prisoner disappeared from the list, and neither are showing up as purchased. I am rather reluctant to have to purchase additional DLC (which I am not a big fan of in the first place) just to receive that which was included with the game as a reward for my purchase.

So, I just logged back into Dragon Age and lo and behold! All my DLC finally popped up. Looks like something got fixed.

It is crazy hard to understand why they would make ad-on story line that isnt compatible with the original game and all the pieces we had to pay for and no can no longer use. My love and admiration for Bioware is waining quickly. Add that with all the bugs that are still present. I start as noble dwarf and end as a dwarf from dust town some how.... messed up and expect way better quality from Bioware, yeah they got the story and it made it fun but damn they are screwing up everywhere else.

I am not quite sure why my DLC suddenly appeared after a week of owning/playing the game after I input the promo codes. One thing I did, the other night I played that flash game, Dragon Age: Journeys, and unlocked the three items for DLC in Dragon Age: Origins. After unlocking 1 or 2 of the items, and playing DA:O I noticed no change in my DLC not showing up. However, after unlocking all three DA:J items (Amulet, Belt and Helm of the Deep), and logging back into DA:O, all three were listed as purchased along with the Blood Dragon Armor and Stone Prisoner.

I'm not saying for certain, but perhaps this could have had something to do with it. [Shrugs]



As a short aside (not to pull this thread off topic), but I have yet to actually download any of the DLC yet. My question is, when I download and activate it, is it a one-time-use thing, or will all my newly created characters have the items/quest available to them as well? I didn't want to activate something and realize I voided it for future use.

Ace-of-Spades you own it once you get it. You can download it over and over but from what is sounds like once it's loaded once it's good for all characters later made.



Still annoyed I had to spend $3 to get this all. Damn EA/Bioware.

im having the same problem! i went to my friends house today to download the blood dagon armor and shale with my redeem codes, and everything seemed to work, on my registered dowloads on my profile it shows that both are downloaded and when i get on my game the option to buy the shale isnt in the dlc menu but when  play and go to sulchers pass when i click ok to get the control rod it send me to psn to buy the dlc for it when i aparantly arleady have it downloaded, so if anyon hears of a solution please share because april 30th is getting close and i dont want to have to spend money to get what i could have gotten free,

So far the only confirmed and wide spread fix is to spend $3 on the feastday combo pack. It sucks, I'm sorry, but it's true.

Also don't forget to get the free items for using the stand alone character creator and the flash game dragon age journeys.

I can confirm that the problem still exists. I was not aware at first because my strength was not high enough.
But once I wanted to put on the Blood Armor, it was gone. Also Stone prisoner is gone. Very annoying.
Bought the combo pack. Didn't help.
I have the pc version.
Region Europe.

buffalo1972 there is a PC tech forum board they may have better answers for you. I think there are ways to manually load items and such.

I will join all of you in saying I am having the same problems. Both the armor and shale show up in my socialnetwork profile, but nothing in the game. I have been on EA support chat and they have had me delete game data utility twice, reboot my modem, but still nothing!

Exactly the same issue here. I actually lost my little redeemable code insert until I was almost done with my first playthrough, so I didn't even realize it was an issue until I tried another game. Codes redeemed, but they immediately disappear from "available content." No option to download armor, no Shale.



Incredibly lame .... I just want what I paid for. Worse yet, I bought the game as a gift for a friend (also PS3 version), and he's having the same exact problem. >_<

I just purchased DA:O I have the same issue with the DLC. Entered in the Shale code in the DLC menu in-game, and the option disappeared from the menu without downloading. Followed the instructions for the Blood Dragon Armor and entered it in on the website. Although my Bioware account says I have both, neither showed up in game. I also have The Lucky Stone from uploading from the character creator, Embri's Many Pockets and Amulet of the War Mage from Journeys all showing in the account but nothing is showing in the game.



I can see for sure that my PSN and EA accounts are working correctly as after entering shale's code via DA:O and it disappeared from the download menu it began showing in my entitlements page of my EA account.



I have a North America PS3 and North America DA:O (US).
